Anyone who was in NFTY or a Jewish youth group in the lates 2000s/early 2010s has probably been in a service where Fix You by Coldplay was used in the place of Mi Shebeirach. Heal Us Now, by Leon Sher, is wrapped up in a lot of teen choir nostalgia for me as well. Put them together, and it’s a healing mash up that has just the reflective quality I’ve been holding onto at this point in the pandemic.

Hello, friends, and welcome to my kitchen table here in Melbourne.  The first four tracks are originals, all finished since my arrival in Australia.  The final track is a cover of Pete Murray's "Opportunity," a tune that has become something of a motif in my life and its varied adventures.

I add with boundless gratitude that these songs were recorded with a Zoom, and mastered by my talented housemate, Josh Nezon.  This kitchen table concept, and so much of the art built around it, was inspired by my teacher, Dan Nichols.
