Hello, friends, and welcome to my kitchen table here in Melbourne.  The first four tracks are originals, all finished since my arrival in Australia.  The final track is a cover of Pete Murray's "Opportunity," a tune that has become something of a motif in my life and its varied adventures.

I add with boundless gratitude that these songs were recorded with a Zoom, and mastered by my talented housemate, Josh Nezon.  This kitchen table concept, and so much of the art built around it, was inspired by my teacher, Dan Nichols.

The Ballad Of Love And Hate

This song sets some beautiful text from Psalm 51 in a simple yet powerful way. Originally recorded on guitar, I had an incredible accompanist with me to change the feeling of the piece, creating a new heart in me.

I arranged a version of How Far I’ll Go including the text of Mi Chamocha, because Miriam also stood at the edge of the waters, wondering why. Happy to have my friends and colleagues, Emily Hoolihan and Becky Mann sing this with me! Matt Teitelman, who is part of this Nava Tehilah season, is playing percussion, and I’m on the ukulele. This was used in Thursday morning Shacharit April 4, 2019, on the HUC Jerusalem campus.
