Day One [ Prod - Beat Busta ]

Pops was a rolling stone, but in this case he brought the kids along, which resulted in a unique blend of influences starting in the West with Pac, DJ Quik, Cypress Hill, gradually moving to the southwest desert with the sounds of UGK, Devin the Dude, and the Freestyle Kings.  Realizing potential in the South, CA, with a bag of clothes and a TV in the passenger side, moved to Georgia in search of expanding his audience. Although growing up gang related, the bigger picture was never out of focus. His lyrics never alienate anyone, from anywhere. CA makes music for those who smoke, those who don’t, those who live ready to die and those who live hoping it never ends; he creates for all walks of life. 
The late nights in his neighborhood as a teen gave birth to the notion that he was able to freestyle; the older were preaching commandments of gang life, whereas CA, still a product of his environment was not, and never forgot Pac’s infamous words, “Only God can judge me.” 
But the pen never hit the pad until he was introduced to a young DJ Chase in the mid 2000s. A string of rugged street anthems and smoke sessions later, CA evolved into a one of a kind artist.  His ability to link his experiences with those of others and his hunger to succeed make for, simply put, good fucking music.
