This isn't  a band, it's a One-guy-project. 
I started songwriting in summer 2006.
All songs are recorded with "Guitar Pro 5" using a real sound engine or with "Reason". 
So no instrument is played by a real musician and the music is completely instrumental.
If you like it, don't buy it but show it to your friends :-)

Tlamanik es un proyecto de Psytrance que busca compartir la importancia del entendimiento del equilibrio e interacción entre todos los seres vivos, el universo y su infinito, todos somos parte de una naturaleza, que trasciende mas allá del tiempo-espacio.  Con evoluciones y tintes provenientes del Progressive trance, atmósferas profundas que pueden transportarnos a eones de distancia que nos revelan lo efímero del ser dentro del todo, combinando sonidos acústicos de diferentes partes del mundo, sonidos análogos y digitales crean esta humilde visión emitida para el oído.

My influences are breakbeats first and foremost, electro, nuskool, funky, florida, you name it, I love em. But also in writing breaks there is alot of conformation. I approach writing music nowadays with a free hand. If I feel something, or want to do something, I want to write music! not stick it into a breaks tune. I found that throwing out all genre specifications and rules allowed me to write exactly what I want when I want, without concern for if it's club playable or not. 

I have been able to throw in influences from Jazz, from indie rock, pop, classical and whatever, wherever and whenever. And I think it's how I best truly express myself. That's what it's all about in the end isn't it??

Violet and the Sun is an ethereal pop band whose musical inspirations are as enigmatic and original as they are lush and eclectic. 

Band leader, singer-songwriter and producer-engineer April White has relied on playing the piano and singing to express herself in private most of her life, as if writing in a diary to find herself and revive her spirit. She brings her inner life to the foreground in this iconic and eponymous, breakthrough album, "Violet and the Sun." 

April called upon several friends, collaborators and skilled musicians to contribute to the colorful soundscapes the album explores, who journeyed to her rustic log cabin studio for recording sessions. 

The album would not be complete without the stylings, inspirations, ideas and talents of Aaron Day, Jon Margulies and Christine Bucher—or the finesse of award-winning composer, producer, engineer, and multi-instrumentalist Ben Leinbach, whose final touches and mixing/mastering skills took each song to a new level. 

Living on an acreage near the South Rim of the Grand Canyon with her beloved dogs, cats and dwarf goats provides April with an endless source of joy and wonder. The miles of uninterrupted pinyon pines by day and countless stars by night give her a sense of interconnectedness and place in the universe, which is intimately reflected in this break-out album.
