Released to much fanfare earlier in 2020, San Francisco’s Spencer Brown made a highly anticipated return to our label with his second mix album, ’Stream of Consciousness’. Featuring a selection of original material, written over the past five years and crafted into an all-encompassing singular journey, the mix album serves as an extensive insight into Spencer’s creative world, blurring his signature progressive sound with influences from deep house, trance and techno.

In the first of two companion EPs to the mix album, Spencer now presents five of the tracks that formed his ’Stream of Consciousness’ in an unmixed, full-length format. Among the highlights to emerge in this release are fan favourites ‘Lose You’ and ‘Foggy August’ (produced with Qrion), and his collaborations with Marsh (‘Pursuance’) and Ben Böhmer (’SF to Berlin’).

Spencer Brown’s ’Stream of Consciousness’ arrives as limited edition 2x12” vinyl on April 8, featuring fully unmixed and DJ-friendly versions of all twelve tracks from the album. The vinyl is available to pre-order now from the Anjuna Music Store.

Released last September, Jordi van Achthoven and Micha Heyboer’s (aka Tinlicker) debut album ’This Is Not Our Universe’ took our world by storm, jumping to #1 on iTunes Dance upon release. A beautifully crafted journey through Jordi and Micha’s wide-ranging palette of progressive house and trance, the album featured an evergreen remix of alt-J’s ‘Breezeblocks’ as well as vocal singles ‘Lost’ and ’Need You’.

Fresh off his latest album ‘Deep State’ and setting up his Deep State Recordings imprint, Scottish producer Grum's progressive outlook on ‘Close Your Eyes’ has been a favourite in both his own and Tinlicker’s recent sets. With several heavy-hitting releases on Anjunadeep as of late, Spanish producer Dosem also joins the fray, contributing a deeper remix of ‘Vanishing’. To round off the package, Utrecht natives Deeparture and Tom Zeta tackle ‘Bird Feeder’ and ‘When The Light Fades’ respectively, whilst French producer and ‘Superset' pioneer Joris Delacroix adds his distinct melodic house flavour onto ‘Lost'.

Caweh Passereh more commonly known as Capa is without doubt one of the most exciting, creative and inspirational progressive producers in the current dance music scene.
Residing in Stockholm – Sweden (where there seems to be something in the water with melodic producers) Capa brings a wealth of experience in terms of production; Early support from Toolroom Records and a co production credit on the massive Icona - Pop project really signalled the start of a very inspiring career for this creative talent.
