Capital Techno is named after Austin Tx's public transit service Capital Metro. The concept has nothing to do with the origins of techno music or other political topic. We do not contest that the genre originated from Detroit/Chicago/NYC/Berlin etc..

Hailing from Leeds in the north of the UK, Balrog (Alex) is an artist whose style focuses on heavy rolling drums, driving bass lines, and distorted vocals. His tracks take influence from classic funky and groove focussed techno but with a fresh injection of modern industrial power. Focussing on this signature sound of industrial groove techno has seen him release on labels including Soma, Ear To Ground, Hydraulix, Crisis Of Man, Player, NAKT, Instruments Of Discipline, Moments In Time and Green Fetish.

The industrial groove sound also characterises Balrog’s high-energy DJ sets which have seen him headline events in cities such as New York, Berlin, London, Leeds, Manchester, Budapest, Glasgow, and more.

Balrog also runs his own record label, Khazad Records, which releases music from the very best industrial groove and hard techno talent around.

In addition to his Balrog alias, Alex also also plays and produces under, The Groovemeister General, focussing exclusively on moulding together deep, funky and grooving house and techno records.

LØDZIKØVSKY is a Polish electronic music artist based in Egypt for the past 11 years, where she draws inspiration from the dunes of Dahab, ancient temples, Bedouin caravans, and Red Sea desert mysticism. Her sound fuses Slavic folk motifs with oriental rhythms, creating a new signature style in the global scene — emotionally charged, hypnotic, and rooted in cinematic storytelling.

Releasing new tracks every week on leading international labels, Lodzikovsky has quickly become one of the most prolific producers in the region. Her latest release, Carawan to Siwa (Original Mix) on Camel VIP Records, reflects her deep connection with Egyptian landscapes and nomadic culture.

Musical Journey & Releases

Active since 2018, her artistic path began in El Gouna’s iconic El Khema, performing with the Ancient Spirit collective (Enrico & Salama Roh). Since then, she has played across Egypt’s top venues including Sailors, Aurora, Four Seasons, Coco Loco, and numerous luxury private events.

In 2025, she signed an impressive sequence of releases across respected global labels such as:
Shango Records, Cosmic Awakenings, Camel VIP Records, Café de Anatolia, Bayati Records, Nobel Spirits, and more — with over 20+ upcoming releases already scheduled.

In 2026, Lodzikovsky joins the lineup of Villa La Vida Festival in Tenerife (produced by Mistic Creature & Be Kolektive), further bridging the European and oriental electronic scenes.

Cultural Influence & Community Work

Beyond the stage, Lodzikovsky plays a significant cultural role in Egypt. She founded the Egypt – All Information community with over 50,000 members, supporting Polish travelers and expats, organizing cultural events, and promoting Egyptian music and tourism.

Her story gained wider recognition through a YouTube interview that exceeded 450,000 views, resonating with audiences for its authenticity and cross-cultural message.

Professional Background in Event Tech

Parallel to her artistic work, Lodzikovsky is part of MICEtribe, managing advanced registration systems for major B2B events across Qatar, Dubai, Oman, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.
Most recently, she oversaw the entire registration and approval process for Food Africa 2025, handling a database of 35,000 trade professionals.

Upcoming Projects

Lodzikovsky is developing her own boutique festival in Marsa Alam (Abu Dabbab) — a curated fusion of Polish electronic artists and regional talents, continuing her mission of connecting Eastern and Western music cultures.

Not many artists are lucky enough to release a track that defies genre classification and reaches into mainstream culture, with people enthusiastically embracing its melody and adopting it as if it were a football anthem.
His track “Rave” has become an instant classic, a timeless piece of music gaining more than 100 million streams (becoming the most clicked Techno track ever).
Since 1996, a landmark year for him thanks to the worldwide success of his track “Zoe” produced as Paganini Traxx, Sam Paganini’s stylistic experimentations have gone from strength to strength, leading him to collaborate and release his music on several record labels like Plus8, Cocoon Recordings and Drumcode, reaching the highest spots on Beatport’s Techno Chart several times. His unique musical journey has achieved great success both on the underground circuit as well as on the mainstream channels.
