Our Company was created in 2006 as a event promotion company. CEO Anthony "Ace" Ratliff was & is a musician from Washington, DC. Born & raised around the live music seen, Ace started to perform with various bands and work in the studio since the age of 17. R&B & Go-Go music (DC Form Of music) was the center of his music creation until Hip Hop was born and adopted in the DC Area. With having his own band to promote, Ace decided to start using his company to promote and manage his own band and a few Hip Hop Artist. Blachawk Records became a Independent label in 2010 when artist in the Metro DC area needed a format to release their music, upon opening a recording studio gave the gave company a chance to expand & work with artist from the ground up.

Blachawk Records is expanding in 2013 with new music & films on the horizion!
