DJUNKIE aka RamyTheDJunkie Aka Ramy Yaqout. An Egyptian born in Kuwait; lived and traveled the world from Kuwait to the USA, Spain, Japan, Holland, Bahrain. Currently living between Cairo, and Berlin.
Djunkie has been in the music industry since 1997, to him music is The Flavor of Life, thanks to his musical background and his parents who are both musicians. 

He has played in hundreds of  local and international scenes and places such as Jordan, Qatar,Lebanon, UAE, Bahrian, Germany, Holland, Italy, Danmark, France, Greece, Portugal, Spain and played along side with international artists like Eve, Russ, Craig David Fatman Scoop Outlandish, and Pete Philly..
In addition to many other local and International bands and DJs. A highlight of his career was playing at Fusion Festival 
in 2015 (http://www.fusion-festival.de/ 2015 and http://www.roskilde-festival.dk/  2015) 

DJunkie feels that it is in his ability to manipulate and mix music that has given him his edge to create and keep the hype and crowd at an ongoing high.

With the taste of the 50s & the 80s Rockabilly Music, four Guys decided to spread their inspiration for this type of music to revive the Rockabilly and the Rock & Roll music in EGYPT and the MIDDLE EAST.

In November, Marv (Drummer) decided to start this ROCKABILLY project by engaging Psycho (Bass), George (Guitarist), and Abouseif (Lead Guitarist) into this shared dream.

The Band is inspired and Covers the music of Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, The Beatles, Little Richard, Stray Cats, Johnny Cash, and more and more Rockabilly Artists.

Safi is a veteran Cairo radio DJ, musician & aspiring producer. A&R at Alt Orient Records & Co-founder of Red Sea based Duf Music Studios. He is resident at Egypt's Nacelle (Sandbox) & the legendary Cairo Jazz Club, and is more than comfortable playing many different genres and sound spectrums.

Currently based on Egypt's Red Sea coast, you'll often find him plying his musical trade in quality venues and festivals across Europe, the Arab World & Asia. He is happy to play wherever people are ready to listen and receive.


Safi has been producing for radio since 2003, and currently mixes chilled oriental beats & fusions from around the world on Nile Bazaar for Cairo's Nile FM & Duf Music for Berlin's multicult.fm.
