One of the many explorations of chillsphere that I have engaged in over the years. I realized a little ways into the set that it was also a tribute to Adam Bombthreats, one of my brothers that moved forward. He is one of my favorite DJs of all time and one of the silliest people I have ever met. This is certainly chill, downtempo and very much one of the many components that encompasses the sound of Pimp Smooth. This is where intentions and environment meet the off-the-cuff-flow of Captain EZ and the players that be (the people in the mix), along with the vibe that needs to be happening. I hope you enjoy.

It was so great to be out at Deerfields with some amazing people. A magical place with family that makes magic! Desert Trax (the music/record label) recently had a deal for their entire discography at an amazing discount. Having only purchased some of it previously, I took the queue and went for it! So this was an exploration of their artists, a listening party really, with me having only listened to either 2 to 3 seconds of a track or not at all before the set started. This is how I love to play and most of my sets happen like this. I also do some pre-production and planning with tracks too - just an FYI.  I had been wanting to do a series showcasing producers/labels/etc., maybe this is the beginning of those sets I actually post. I hope you enjoy. Thank you for your support. EZ
