Alternative R&B artist Prashant Raghavendran, performing as Captain Highside, bends soulful, cathartic poetry into melodic ballads. Captain Highside launched with piano-driven bops in the early 2000s, and draws inspirations from around the world, from Bollywood beats to country standards. 

As singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Prashant as Captain Highside is driven by collaboration, working with many music stalwarts and mainstays in the Nashville scene.

Ever evolving as a human and artist, the Captain Highside project offers a creative respite to the pediatric hematologist. 

Prashant hangs his hat in Atlanta for now, accompanied by his muse, Terra and their loyal pup, Mochi. Mistake/Mend/Master/Meditate is his debut album, released to all streaming platforms 4/21/23. In Southern Cities, his first EP, will be available 7/28/23.
