Artifex is a Psy-trance project by Yarin Ilovich.

Yarin was born in Israel in the 90s, and his interest in music started early in life.
At the age of 13, he began playing the guitar.
Later, he had his first encounter with electronic music, playing various genres at big parties all around Israel.
He started producing psychedelic music in 2017, after he spent time at the Ozora festival he decided to start a new career as a psytrance artist.

"The Ever Present Silent Observer" is a collaboration with the Aussie musician Peter Haze AKA TETRAMETH. The track was started in Byron Bay and we wrapped it up in Tel Aviv. It has one of the funkiest bass-lines I ever recorded. Pete recorded a pick scratching the guitar strings, tribal drum-breaks and brought us the genius sample alongside with some dark atmosphere pads. I remember actually sampling their bathroom trash can as a gong hit at some point :) It was a pleasure creating and an adventure collaborating with Pete for the 2nd time.

Origin is the theme track of the new album. All of its sequencers have been recorded live from Nord Rack 2, SH101, Xobox & Virus C, I wanted to create a hook of a speech about abandoning desires and ego, connecting to our essence and achieving serenity by doing that, luckily I've found just what I was searching for and recorded it into the track, followed by a melodic riff to create the mystery, and bringing everything together with the right impact and without over-doing it. What came out is a mix of Trance, Techno, Goa & Acid and I’m stocked to share it with you.

Frankie's Wish is a collaboration with the Israeli based duo 'Lish'. We actually started the track a few years back and forgot about it at some point. I've DJ'ed the sketch at some festivals in unique moments, 'cause this track had something special about it. It was authentic and not trying to be something it's not. It's a feeling I sometimes miss when listening to music. Someone made a video of the track being played and uploaded it online. A year or two had passed when the dude who had made the video approached me in Copenhagen at a party and asked about this track. He said it's his wish for us to finish it. I asked for his name: “Frankie”, he said. 
I told him we’ll finish the track and call it “Frankie's Wish”.
The outcome is 136 bpm classic psy progressive trance with some 303 acid elements. Dive in!
