My initiative to Stand Up Radio comes: 
a) from my own wish to express myself musically with lyrics that put people to think further about the happenings in the world, in stead off only reading the regular news and believing this is the only thing needed to be known.

With 2 different cuts of equally high pedigree from 2 of the most exciting UK talents, Parly B and Jago, each with its own heavy weight dub version from UK legend Manasseh plus murderous Jungle remixes from J-Man and FLeCK this release is a sure fire anthem for 2014. .LIGHTER!

Parly B:  What a year it has been for this man. Having established his reputation with the Skints, Parly has gone on to take 2013 by storm establishing himself as the most saught after MC on the UK dancehall scene with recent hits on Mungo’s Hi Fi’s Scotch Bonnet and Reggae Roast amoung many others. His track ‘Dem a Fight’ on this release is arguably his biggest and baddest to date and sets a message of intent for 2014. Jago came to fame as the front man of dub/reggae outfit Onlyjoe and brings his rugged, energetic style to the release with great effect. Jago’s cut, entitled Ilani, is a tribute to his first daughter who has been a continual source of  inspiration to him. He is currently putting the finishing touches on his debut album, entitled ‘Jago And Friends’ which is set to be released in early 2014 and is set to make big waves in the UK Reggae scene and beyond.

J-man delivers an absolute killer of a Jungle remix that is sure to excite Europe's vast sea of Jungle fanatics. Fast becoming one of the most talked about up and coming producers on the UK underground rave circuit, Bristol's dub plate munching badman has been taking the scene by storm with his trademark style of party flexed Ragga-Jungle. Having just signed to Run Tingz Records and with his debut album soon to drop, things are heating up for this exciting talent.

FLeCK: Next up we have FLeCK ,an electronic music producer extraordinaire hailing from Athens, Greece, who hits us with a down tempo 140 BPM Jungle reworking. RUFF an TUFF this is a hard hitting alternative to the original and brings brand new flavour to the release. Having made big waves in the electronic music scene since the 90s, FLeCK’s music has found its way into the record boxes of the likes Public Enemy’s DJ Lord, Rusko and many others as well featuring on Diplo’s Mad Decent blog and massive radio support.

and your saviour was a gobshite in a suit with no soul
from butter mountains to butter vouchers that bought tobbacco pouches
livin the dream projected from telly to couches
some got dejected despair set in gave up
their lives,to a bottle of misery with a dash of dutch pride
 


but he wasnt havin that when he saw what could give
what the affluent drove what they wore how they lived
for even the recession had its benefits for some
and not all these benefits were legally won
not even the least cynnical avoided the sharade
whereever theres sufferin theres money to be made
from schams with small hands big deals big plans
building an empire unseen but felt and
he kept it modest in public drove a battered cortina
while in private he ruled with a vigour unseen a
bitterness aimed at the elite and the big shots
who legislated a system so they could buy up lots
development plans with building contractors
corporate highbrows political actors
factor it all in you picture the rest
its easy to justify when your view of justice is

when it came to the church fund he threw in the cash
looked after his kids well did right by his gang
but whatever you did you didn't cross this man
for the buisness he reigned you had to factor the risk

for the downfalls were great and if ever he should
