For this song I have rediscovered my 1980s Fender Stratocaster Elite guitar, which has provided the nice crunchy and a bit aggressive single coil sound. As this guitar has active pick ups it produces a lot of sustain, so that as well the solos were really flowing easily.

At the beginning, I put a different melody and chord progression in the chorus part of the song, but the whole song became long, I quit.Also, at first it was a quiet jazz blues, but when I shortened it changed to a different style. I do not quite understand the reason for myself :)
After all, I finished it as a simple D7 blues(Blue Note Scale).In my series of solo guitar, rhythm also has parts like melody and improvisation at the same time. I enjoy and finish practicing stacking those elements like buildings.I think that it is a very useful practice method to figure out how to use the song tone scale, the blue note scale, and the chord tone.
In order to simultaneously sound rhythm, melody and improvisation, picking style uses finger picking.
This time, because I used the old type of Stratocaster, there is noise remaining. Please forgive me  :))

Yes I was alive in the sixties and, at the time, remember thinking that I had everything sorted about how my life would pan out. I didn’t really think beyond the age of 30 - it seemed so ancient – and therefore felt I’d got plenty to fit in before my ensuing dotage. Alongside the plan to be in a band with my two brothers, I was also convinced I was going to be a professional footballer, so those would no doubt have been busy but assuredly fun times. 

Sadly, I didn’t become a professional football player - that’s plans for you - and though I played a little bit of guitar, very few people then knew of my musical desires. My two very talented brothers didn’t have a clue that I had such aspirations and it took until the early eighties before I became brave enough to write a song and play it to them.

I loved the 60’s, and look back on it all with enormous fondness – it was a great time to be alive.  But so is now and, even though I’m well into my sixties, have so many reasons to be happy in simply being alive – my beautiful wife and wonderful kids to name but two.

Finally, we owe a massive thank you to Hans for producing another stunningly brilliant backing track.  Thank you for everything, my friend.
