This is his last DJ set from Walking Bass Festival, playing just after Talpa, about which he says: "was the perfect moment to close with a massive psy-techno set and to present one of my future productions (Le Satyre - LeSonDuPlacard L-xir Remix), include some of my favorite artists and a playlist of recent songs in the psy-tech world... minimal-deeptech; tech-house; raw-techno, for me the right combination to add real dynamics to this set."

It's hard to put into words the experience I had playing my own music to an amazing crowd that stuck around until the early hours of the morning at Origin Festival 2023. 

It was really great being able to play some of my favorite tunes I've made over the years, as well as a few unreleased gems, and a couple tracks from my bro Glyph!

So grateful to Regan and the Crew for the opportunity to be part of this incredible event!

Altered Stasis is a music producer from Cape Town, South Africa. Born in 1994 he was introduced to Psytrance music and festivals at a very young age, as his father was involved with some of the first events in South Africa. 

At 16 he decided to take up music production and has been learning and building his style over the years. Having experience with a wide variety of genres, he blends elements of Hip-Hop, Trap, Reggae and Techno with the rolling basslines and soaring synths of Psytrance. 

Being a creative person and having experience in art and graphic design, he also makes all the cover art for his independent releases.

The goal of Altered Stasis is to upset the equilibrium and bring you some exciting journeys with music.

 Eeriegeist is a forest psychedelic trance project developed by the young mind of Sebastian Salas residing in Mexico City. His first impressions on psychedelic music were on 2013, since that and after a few years experimenting with sound and improving his production techniques, the project takes his sonic exploration to a more groovy and deep psychedelic context managed through a complex arrange of carefully designed psychedelia. Joe Evans aka Capt Tripps’ obsession with electronic music began way back when he was just 10 years old. Hearing these innovative sounds led him to become a DJ at an early age, getting behind the decks to spin New Wave and later, Techno and Hard Trance. As a veteran of the rave scene, he was deeply moved by the intricate and complex sounds of Psytrance, as well as the closely knit community surrounding it.
More than 2 decades later, Capt Tripps has long been a staple of the Seattle Psytrance community. In 2015, he co-founded Seattle Psy Ops along with fellow DJ Jason “Technohippy” Starling and psychedelic video artist Shado. Joe has been responsible for bringing some of the greatest names in Psytrance to Seattle, many of them for the first time. Along the way, he has shared the stage with top talent including Ace Ventura, Etnica, Dickster, Sonic Species, Khromata, and countless others.
Joe is a master of many styles of EDM, ranging from Chillout to Deep Techno to Full-On Psytrance. His sets never disappoint, always crafting the perfect mood for each moment to keep you dancing from start to finish! He is also stellar at capturing dance floor action shots, serving as our resident photographer.
