Few people bring a truly original sound to house music. At a relatively young age, Hamburgs Martin Stimming did just that, demonstrating a sophisticated yet accessible sound that is beyond his years.

Two years after hooking up with Solomuns Diynamic Music, his 2008 breakthrough hit Una Pena made the electronic world sit up and take notice, and before long acclaimed labels like Freerange, liebe*detail, Buzzin´ Fly, Green and Poker Flat were snapping up his work. 2009 saw him release his immaculate debut album Reflections to great acclaim, cementing his reputation as one of the most exciting new producers of his generation. 

His second album, Liquorice, eschews the normal kick-clap/snare template by and large to explore more interesting and progressive territories, but always with that trademark magpie-like sense of texture, emotion and discovery. 

His productions are filled with a multitude of his own unique, charismatic field recordings, and he never uses the same sample more than once. 

2010 saw him pick up an award for Best Newcomer at the Ibiza DJ Awards, following on from his live show (Stimming does not DJ) stunning the crowds at the islands legendary Pacha, and the finest danceries around the world Πfrom Berlins Panoramabar to Sao Paulo´s D-Edge, Brussels Fuse, London´s fabric and Paris Rex, and plenty more beyond. 

Remixes for the likes of Sascha Funke, Claude VonStroke, Deadmau5, Stephan Bodzin and Tom Novy to name but a few have further spread his influence amongst the discerning house and tech community, and cemented his reputation as one of the scene´s most exceptional producers.

Clearly, Martin Stimming is a precious talent indeed. But then again, not everyone loves liquorice...

Yoann Lemoine aka Woodkid, is widely regarded as one of the most creative and exciting artists working in the contemporary music, as witnessed by his hugely acclaimed videos for Global superstars Lana Del Ray and Drake & Rihanna amongst others. Woodkid is the musical artist, the songwriter/singer/lyricist/producer, who has made this beautiful record. The visual aspect remains hugely important with Woodkid directing all his own videos and turning his live performances into a spectacle rarely seen in the world of pop music. Together with a 30-piece orchestra, he turned the venerable Le Grand Rex theatre in Paris into a place of ecstasy in front of 3,000 adoring fans last September. “When I started playing my own music, I wanted it to be as tall as a skyscraper. Images can achieve that. A really big orchestra can also achieve that.” 

This creative ambition and artistic freedom have allowed Woodkid to make such a unique sounding and powerful album as The Golden Age.  “It’s all about that time of passage between adolescence and adulthood, into that confusing hyper-reality,” Woodkid notes.

Fondateur du label/collectif Swarm Prod et désormais PARAPLUI; nourri autant par le hip-hop, que par le metal extrême et l'indus, Mathieu, participe à une multitude de projets jusqu'en 2012 sous différents pseudonymes. C'est cette année qu'il trouve sa voie dans la production se rapprochant des racines de la musique électronique. Son style, à la limite de la Deep et de la Techno se promène entre la chaleur cadencée des percussions et la musique industrielle. Largement influencé par le groove de la UK House et la musique expérimentale, son style s'affranchi des genres pour mieux les épouser; ses productions sont le résultat de la captation d'émotions, d'idées et de sensations. Parmi ses références on peut trouver des artistes tels que Borrowed Identity, Vatican Shadow, Mondkopf, Skudge, Jonas Kopp, Randomer, Benjamin Damage, Objekt, ou encore Silent Servant.
En 2014 après une multitude de scènes entre Lyon/Paris/Lausanne et Montreux il célèbre sa résidence au côté de son binôme STONN au DV1 Club à Lyon. Lors de leurs soirées sobrement intitulés H&S ils se sont produit aux côtés de Chris Wadsworth, Marquis Hawkes, Dense & Pika,Vadim Svoboda, Borrowed Identity, IVVO, Oliver Ho aka Broken English Club.
