Dox Records is the record label of Dox, based in Amsterdam.

Founded in 1997 by members of the band Sfeq, Dox was intended to provide an alternative musical resource in the music industry.

Benny Sings is a prolific songwriter, multi-platinum awarded producer and artist from Amsterdam. Benny has made his name over a 2-decade career as a singer, songwriter and producer, with the the critically acclaimed latest album ‘Young Hearts' (released March 2023) on Stones Throw Records and amassed 1.5 billion streams across his catalogue so far. 

The album ’Young Hearts' includes the singles 'Pyjamas' ft Remi Wolf, The World & Young Hearts. For this project, Benny joined forces with producer Kenny Beats. The album was written & produced in Los Angeles, London & Amsterdam. 

Benny has honed a signature sound while creating a colorful catalog of essential pop gems that have led to loyal global following, with fans including John Mayer, Anderson .Paak and Jamie Cullum. Benny collaborated with a wide range of artists like Kenny Beats, Tom Misch, Mac DeMarco, Cory Henry, PJ Morton, Marc Rebillet, Emily King, Free Nationals, Mayer Hawthorne, Nulbarich, Polo & Pan, Mocky, Rae Khalil & Cornelius. He co-wrote and produced platinum awarded singles and chart topping albums for UK artist Rex Orange County including ‘Lovin Is Easy’ and ‘Who Cares’. He was nominated for an Edison Award in 2016, 2023 & 2024 and won a Buma Music In Motion Award in 2024. 

Benny Sings played live session for NPR’s Tiny Desk, KCRW & COLORS & plays sold out shows worldwide.


In 2023 Benny celebrated his 20th anniversary.

People of Rhythm Records has released music from electronic artists Freddy Fresh, as The Modulator (POR01) and Paul Birken (POR02). The third release is a limited color seven inch release, "Turn" (POR03) from acclaimed and influential, English producer Luke Vibert (aka Wagon Christ, Plug, Amen Andrews, Kerrier District). The fourth release (POR04) was the long awaited 14 track full length album, "Recepticon" by Wagon Christ (Longtime Luke Vibert alias).

The brainchild of Cape Town based jazz musician Shane Cooper, Card On Spokes is a live electronic music project that might best be described by one of his lyrics: “the dance of things to come”. 
Taking influence from hip hop to house music, and subtle colours from his jazz roots, he has crafted a unique style that is constantly evolving. 

CoS has seen rapid success in the last few years, reaching a #1 on YFM, getting airplay on BBC Radio 3 and Radio 6, as well as support from Gilles Peterson, and Boiler Room debuts.  
His live performance on the Cape Town Allstars edition of Boiler Room in 2016 set the tone for his latest EP 'As We Surface' which dropped in September 2016 to critical acclaim.  

As a live electronic act, CoS incorporates keys, electric bass, and controllers, often flexing out into psychedelic bass solo frontiers, atop a bed of heaving dancefloor-centric beats.  
He has performed all over South Africa and abroad, and has shared the stage with  Little Dragon, Daedelus, Young Fathers, Clap! Clap! and more. 

Shane Cooper is known as one of the most progressive young jazz artists and double bassists in South Africa, having won the SAMA (South African MusicAward) in 2014 for Best Jazz Album, and performing and/or recording with artists like Lionel Loueke (Herbie Hancock, Robert Glasper), Nils Berg (The Stoner), Soweto Kinch, The Kyle Shepherd Trio, Skyjack, Talvin Singh (Bjork), Malcolm Braff (Blue Note), and more.  

His willingness to explore multiple musical landscapes within his recordings as  Card On Spokes has become his very identity, drawing from his experiences as a double bassist and pulling them into a music made for the dancefloor.

Sibusile Xaba is a remarkable artist who takes influence from all genres of life. An acomplished guitar player, Sibusile tells stories through his music, sharing the message of peace, love and happiness with all.
