Josue Derival (JDMIX)

Josue Derival, alias JDMIX, is a remarkable professional and a tenacious singer, songwriter and dancer. His achievements in the music industry have made him a pacesetter with amazing contributions. A Haiti native, immigrated to become a Canadian citizen. His passion for the music industry started many years ago singing, dancing, and performing in plays in church activities. His background studying Musical Arts and Acting at the Vikings Private College coupled with his experience in the musical arena have enabled him build a successful career.  

JDmix’s specializes in pop music, reggae dancehall, Latin reggae tone, R&B, soul, afrobeat’s World Haitian konpa and zouk music. Motivated by the desire to become a global expert in his field, JDMix has taken the initiative of up-scaling his language mastery, he is fluent in Creole, English and French, an attribute that been an enabler for his career working with renowned brands such as the Haitian and Canadian rap bands “Chachou boys” and the famous “Serenade Music” in Ottawa Ontario and performed in events like mini concerts, birthdays and weddings. 

An independent artist, JDMix is set to release “I Love You”, based on a true love story between a young African American and white girl falling in love and having to fight for their love against racism. The music, which will be of pop/reggaeton genre is set to be his very first single release scheduled for September 26, 2020.
