This month Carhartt WIP radio features renowned radio host, label founder, and record curator Michael Kucyk from Melbourne, Australia. Kucyk rose to prominence in 2005 via independent Melbourne radio station 3rrr.fm, where he debuted his show Noise In My Head. The show later moved to NTS Radio, before evolving 2015 into what is now the @efficientspace, a reissue label committed to releasing rare and obscure music from Australia, covering everything from post-punk to folk and avant-pop.
 
The mix that Kucyk created for this month’s episode reflects the label’s wide and diverse catalog, featuring early influential releases, album closers, and often-overlooked gems. They run a hi-fidelity, private-invite only dance space called Musicland, where they’ve invited a few names you might recognize such as Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy, Tom Of England,  DJ Spinna, Ge-ology, Tone Nimble, Rahaan, Mark Grusane, Lee Collins, Louise Chen, Donna Leake, & Carlos Suffrount…

We’ve heard they're also a solid DJ to throw in for good measure.
