The Sopranistas are a South London based Alt-Country band led by singer-songwriter Gregory S. Rees, lead guitarist Paul A. Gilbert and backing singer and percussionist, Anne Catherine Rees. Nick Briggs is a regular member on saxophone, along with Anders Dal on drums and Rupert Browne on bass. They are due to release their debut album, "Cutting Down The Bird Hotel" in the summer of 2015.

The Mams are Jon Tregenna & Mike Gibson. The band formed in Llanelli, South Wales in 2006 and have released 4 albums - Wam Bam!, Rhondda St, Scraps and Locations - adopting a variety of musical genres from disco to pub rock to R'n'B. Various musicians have come and gone, but Jon and Mike regrouped to produce 3 singles for Spring 2020.

The Joe Strummer Foundation is a registered charity that aims to create new opportunities for aspiring musicians.

Set up by the friends and family of Joe Strummer in the year after his death, the charity seeks to reflect Joe's unique contribution to the music world by offering support, resources and performance opportunities to artists who would not normally have access to them.

Peer Pressure (fka Bradley P) is a DJ based in San Francisco, resident DJ and founder of Gemini. He's played at classic SF venues like The Midway, Public Works and The Great Northern and has also played at Pink Mammoth at Burning Man, The House of Yes in New York, Audio Discotech, the Sound Factory, and other events throughout San Francisco.

Before moving across America, he was one half of the duo responsible for DC's legendary Pink Sock party at the Wonderland Ballroom.

The Cellophane Flowers are the masters of driving, quirky pop. Their songs reflect an eclectic array of influences from tribal drumming to West Coast alt-rock to the dark tinge of 80’s pop. Though bustling with ideas, the band leaves the sublime vocals of singer Francesca Corradini with the room to bring their songs to life – there are no superfluous special effects, the organic feel of the music would be perfectly suited to vinyl, a fact that hasn’t escaped the band who always give their CD artwork an LP look and feel.
2011 sees the band building on the critical success of last year’s ‘If I Was A Girl’ EP, with pre-production already started on an album for release later in the year. “We can’t wait to announce the details of the collaboration we’re working on at the moment”, says guitarist Ian Sumner, “we just need to tie down a few details and hold a gun to his head to make sure he doesn’t change his mind”.
The results will be worth the wait given the critical reaction to the ‘If I Was A Girl’ EP, recorded with Oli Wright (Mystery Jets, Jarvis Cocker) at Miloco Studios. That release pricked up many a respectable ear, including Tom Robinson who has played it on Radio 1 as well as Radio 6, with serious interest being shown across the pond from stations such as WMIR 100.9 FM (New York), WFNX-FM (Boston), IndieHeart.com (San Francisco) and Upstream Radio (Los Angeles) and Banana Peel Radio (Vancouver). The band's drag act in the video for the single was obviously enough to fool Women’s Radio (Oakland CA).
Hailing from four different corners of the world, The Cellophane Flowers pull together a diverse range of backgrounds and influences to create their unique sound. Italian leading lady Francesca Corradini joined the band in the time-honoured fashion – NME ad followed by pub. Drummer Nick Guy has one foot planted in Egypt and the other in Suffolk, growing up on The Cure and cutting his musical teeth in bands in Leeds and London. Then there is guitarist Ian Sumner who grew up in Brazil, before graduating from samba to Kraftwerk and The Stone Roses. Australian-Italian-Maltese bassist Luca Napolitano can lend his hand to almost any instrument, to the extent that he actually bought a bass and played it for the first time on the day of his audition for the 'Flowers.
The 'Flowers are a force to be reckoned with, leaving unsuspecting audience members dazed and enthused through their whirlwind of sounds, instrument swapping and short but incredibly sweet live sets. ”
