Born and bred in Northampton, Carl has from a young age, always shown a big interest in music. His love of music grew and at the age of 19, he moved to London to study music performance.

After successfully graduating, Carl’s confidence grew and he started developing his own musical style, influenced by artists such as Terrence Trent Darby, Roachford, Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye and the great Stevie Wonder.

Carl now knows that writing and creating music is one of the main aims in his life, and he began to showcase some of his songs in Open Mic nights around London. He has also gained much experience in performing in front of the public by busking on the London underground for the last two years, allowing him to increase his confidence and garner his audience’s reactions to his music and hone his craft.
