A song inspired by the bestselling novel ‘The Salt Path’ by Raynor Winn.  I wrote this while on holiday in Cornwall, sitting and resting in Hawker's Hut following a walk along the cliffs at Higher Sharpnose Point near Morwenstow Church.

This song represents Autumn, one of my favourite seasons. The lush abundance with summer fading and the chill of winter on the horizon. You can sense and taste the change in the air, the sound and scent of falling leaves on damp cool earth.  It’s a mellow song that hints at the inevitability of change and impermanence.

While lazing on Glyfada beach, one of the most beautiful in Corfu, I was mesmerized and inspired by the relaxing sound and rhythm of the waves lapping on the shore.  Alexandria is feminine; she is the sea and links the ancient Greek Hellenistic period with the Egyptian port city of the same name.
