The Magpyes are an English rock band that formed inToulouse, France in the beginning of 2019. 
With writing influences ranging from the raw energy of  punk to the ambitious psychedelic pop melodies of the sixties their sound is built on the back of 50 years of british rock and roll. 
The original roster of lead singer and guitarist William Griffiths, bassist Frederick Mclean and drummer Ezra Lockett began with their home town Punk-Rock band The F.E.W. in 2015. After a 2 year hiatus they reformed with a new lineup including the addition of guitarist and singer Tom Moran. Working under the Notre-Dame Studios home studio label, The Magpyes released their first single Devil song in February 2019.
