Old Joe Clark & Ida Red

I wrote this song in 2004 about the Washburn "A" Mill explosion that happened in Minneapolis in 1878.  My family moved to Minnesota from Maine in the 1850's and my 4th great grand grandmother was living on the other side of the Mississippi River in St. Anthony when the explosion occurred. I am thrilled that Sassafras Stomp wanted to record Washburn Blues on their latest album!
