Kate has played with every major club in Australia: Home, Ivy, Tank, Soho, Cargo, Family, Platinum...you name it, gathering a devoted fan base on the way. Her residency atthe iconic Sublime (Home Nightclub) helped earn the club ‘Best Club in Australia’ at the National Dance Music Awards for four years running. 

This Mardi-Gras Season in Sydney 2011 Kate was booked for an unprecedented number of gigs in the festival. Harbour Party with 100% Daywash at Lady Macquaries Chair, Tongue Twister at Arthouse, The Mardi Gras Party warming up for Frankie Knuckles, and Toybox at Luna Park.
Kate Monroe’s name has been synonymous with big parties Mardi Gras, Sleaze Ball, Ministry Of sound, Harbour Party, and Field Day - not to mention offshore gigs in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Kuala Lumpur and the USA Her most recent overseas stint was a tour of the USA including a set at the legendary Winter Party in Miami.

Kate is as much a natural in front of a microphone as she is behind the decks, with stints as a guest presenter on Triple J, Channel V, The Joint and Alchemy on SBS. In 2010 she was the parade DJ for Foxtel’s Mardi Gras broadcast along with Kitty Glitter. Kate’s sound has been featured on multiple compilations for SONY, Shock and a suite of independent labels. 

Kate’s personality and professionalism ensure that she is entrusted with some of the biggest celebrations in Australian history, including the Sydney Olympics Closing Ceremony in front of 60,000 people. She’s been handed the reins of the Lord Mayor’s New Year’s Eve Party for four years running. Kate was behind the decks at Astral Bar for the launch of Seal’s Soul album. She’s filled floors at some of the country’s coolest corporate gigs, including the Cartier “Love” Campaign, , the opening of the first MAC store in Sydney, product launches for Estee Lauder and L’Oreal, Harley Davidson, and Christmas parties for Saatchi and Saatchi. Always behind a good cause, Kate has performed pro bono at gigs like the Camp Quality Supper Club in conjunction with Chandon in Melbourne and Sydney

She has also been a contributor to the ARIA Dance Chart for nearly 10 years. Helping inform the ears of the Australian Public to the newest sounds from around the globe.

I come from a legendary family and grew up in my grandparents legendary dream home called High Country Friths Castle . Frith is Celtic , meaning Peace , Freedom , Kinship and CALM . If you could see the High Country Friths Castle , you'd know why I'm so artistic . I love solitude and sometimes in the right place , I also love throwing parties . In highschool everyone in my home village and in the neighbouring towns came to my parties , and everyone told me that they felt better than ever at my house than anywhere in the world . Technically I was born in ORANGEVILLE ONTARIO and raised in GRAND VALLEY , a tiny village in the countryside north of TORONTO , a village that was once named LITTLE TORONTO , in the GREATER TORONTO AREA . GV's OG nickname is LITTLE TORONTO . I say I'm from Toronto when speaking to a worldwide audience because not everyone has heard of GRAND VALLEY yet , yet I will make my village very famous . I still refer to GV as a village , even though , technically after I left in the nineties when I was nineteen , it doubled in size and became a town . I am proud to come from a VILLAGE . I am very personable because of that and I value that . The world needs more people that are personable , peaceful , calm , creative and kind . Creativity is life to me . It empowers me to grow myself in alignment with why I am alive .

I love creating high level works of art . I am always creating music and dancing . I have also always been quite the crate digger , since an early age , influenced by the best classic hip hop artists , rap , pop , and rock music . I have always known deep in my soul that I was born here on Earth to change the whole world with my creative skills . I started writing rhymes and exploring rapping at the age of four . I started singing and composing melodies the moment I was born . I've always cared about unity and peace , and the actuality of the real FULL potential residing within each of us , whether self realized , or not YET . I've always cared about impact , heart , soulfulness , and ethics . I am an OLDSCHOOL RAVER and poured my LIFE into growing the Shambhala Music Festival from small to big for a long time . I used to promote it for free on myspace and tribe.net , writing an endless amount of personal custom letters to all my favourite DJs and producers around the world , telling them to come to my family reunion because it was fun . I had somewhere between 8000-9000 BEAUTIFUL artistic followers on myspace . 

I have been blessed to study at a small , high calibre art school , The Kootenay School of Art and Design , when it was still an independent co-operative in 1999-2000 , where my mentors were internationally successful master painters , illustrators and sculptors who I have built deep bonds with . I love bonding with highly focused , big hearted , ambitious creatives . 

I have lived in a multitude of epic remote places in a variety of pristine locations . I lived for nine months in the Morning Star Intentional Eco Village in 2001 beside Jim Merkel when he wrote his super famous book on sustainable living called RADICAL SIMPLICITY , which was an absolutely off the charts awe inspiring experience . 

I became a #1 International Bestselling Author in 2022 as one of the 22 spiritual women co-authors in the book GODDESS , a book about healing , feminine empowerment and transformation , an incredibly life changing experience , a project sparked by my mentor Vanessa Moss when I was in her year long mastermind MILLION DOLLAR QUEEN which has been forever life changing . I am now studying hypnosis with Vanessa who works with a lot of Hollywood celebs .

With over 30 years experience in radio and DJ work, Phil Marriott is an expert of his craft.

As well as holding the Head of Music position, Phil presented the evening show on Gaydio - the world’s biggest LGBT dance radio station. Phil’s vibrant radio career has seen him enjoy euphoric highlights, taking up interview opportunities with George Michael, Annie Lennox, Boy George and Cyndi Lauper.

During his time at GaydarRadio, he hosted the Main Stage at Manchester Pride, introducing acts and DJing to a crowd of thousands. He also hosted the weekly celebrity showcase, Secret Sundays at Profile in Soho, interviewing acts such as Beverley Knight and Nerina Pallot, before presenting a totally exclusive and intimate show.

Demonstrating his diverse professionalism and proving eclectic musical tastes, Phil had a successful run on Q Radio’s Moon Safari show in 2008, working for ex Top Of The Pops producer, Ric Blaxill. 

In 2010, Phil was asked to support legendary international DJ, Tiesto at Victoria Park in London, playing the House Rules arena. Prior to that, Brighton-based producers Freemasons released their second album, Shakedown 2 with a triumphant launch party at London’s iconic Heaven, inviting Phil to support their DJ set plus performances from Katherine Ellis, Bailey Tzuke and Sophie Ellis-Bextor. 

Phil’s DJ work has seen him travel internationally, promoting the two genres that he is most passionate about - driving vocal house and alternative-tinged electronica. He played on Sitges beach at the Poptronik Festival in 2012, and also at the 80’s celebration party in aid of MENCAP, Our Friends Acoustic at London’s Indig02 in 2010. His DJing skills have also been demanded by some of the most established and respected clubbing brands, including Fierce Angel, SupermartXe and Miami Calling where Phil played alongside Bimbo Jones frontman, Lee Dagger. 

Challenging himself to the max, Phil took on the role of club promoter in the summer of 2012 when he launched his first night, Club i - a celebration of the best alternative and electronic music. Phil also has a history of engaging music journalism with Guy Spy, Splash and Footloose In London. 

Phil's remix project saw him collaborating with late producer Rich B to remix single releases by Holly Johnson, Erasure, Florrie, Dave Aude and Dannii Minogue.
