Witchtape #53 | Guest Wizz : Isaque Solaris

(Story continued from Witchtape #52)

The little witch sensed she was nearing her destination.  Deep, very deep in the African rain forest.  She had been flying over these endless, pristine woods for over an hour and she couldn’t believe that such a big forest could exist on this planet.  It was way bigger than all the forests of her home country in Western Europe combined.
At one point, the girl sensed she had reached her destination and gently touched down in a small clearing.  After hitting the ground, she quickly became overwhelmed by the energy of the forest, which entered her body through her feet and which resonated strongly throughout her whole body.  Even the earth started to shake.  To her amazement, she saw little trees shooting up from the ground while flowers started to bloom.  The mystic connection between witch and forest released a force she had never experienced before… this forest had clearly been waiting for a witch.  The girl was really impressed by this warm welcome, but at the same time she made it clear that she was already the caretaker of a little forest in Europe and that witches always stay dedicated to just one single forest… for life.  Yet the little witch felt this immense love coming from this vast forest, while a few plants were creeping up her legs.
Then her heart skipped a beat when she saw a giant entering the clearing… she immediately knew it was her lover, her soon-to-be husband.  Surprisingly, he was not alone as he was accompanied by a little girl, who was obviously a tiny little witch and a cousin of the wizard.
After their first kiss in 4 months’ time (the 5ft 5” petite witch being pushed upwards by some helpful creepers so that she came at eye level with 6ft 10” giant wizard), he introduced the 2 witches to each other.  They were amazed at their differences and couldn’t stop looking each other in the eyes.  The black eyes of the tiny witch were beyond mesmerizing, completely contrasting with the bright green eyes of her European sister witch.  It appeared that the child was 9 years old, which happened to be exactly the same age as when the witch settled down in her forest in Europe.  Meanwhile, the nearby animals observed the little black girl, and they realized that finally a witch had arrived to take care of the forest.  Some gorillas approached the child and adopted her instantly in the group.
For an instance, the white witch had a vision of the future and she saw that the 9 year old girl was destined to live for over a thousand years and would eventually become very successful to make this immense forest thrive like never before… although she also sensed this would be a frustrating and difficult task for the next 50 years.  Meanwhile, more and more curious animals approached to get a glimpse of the new witch, but the gorilla family did their best to shield the little girl from all this excitement and to provide a safe nest for her, while the tiny witch started to play with some baby gorillas, visibly already feeling at ease in the forest which would become her home for the next 1000 years…
