Here, Stacey presents three very contrasting tracks plus a remix from Christian Smith and Wehbba which also offers the perfect alternative take on title track 'ROK' With 'ROK', Stacey takes you on a futuristic journey through pure deepness, while Christian & Wehbba's remix lends a slightly more euphoric take on the original mix. Stacey adds even more weight to the EP with 'The Hunt For Din Dah'. The original kicks in with a marching beat that means serious business, and builds up sending the listener into a hedonistic frenzy. The 'Reprise Dub' starts with a more hypotonic touch, but keeps you engaged with occasional waves of fuzzing synths.

Juliet Fox & Matt Sassari - Eyes On Me (Pirupa Remix)

Carl Cox is an iconic figurehead of the electronic music industry, whose influential legacy includes his much famed label Intec, which he runs with friend and business partner Jon Rundell.

The new Intec release is from D-Unity and Matt Sassari who made their label debut in 2016 with a top selling EP titled “Fire Up” and now it’s time for a much anticipated follow up.

Canadian artist D-Unity has previously released on a wide selection of labels ranging from Toolroom and Suara to Yoshitoshi and Armada. Often at the top of sales charts, his party starting Techno anthems are regularly supported by everyone from Eric Prydz to Danny Tenaglia.

French man Matt Sassari is also a high calibre artist whose music has featured on labels including Tronic, Bitten and UMEK’s 1605 amongst many others. He is also a popular DJ regularly flying between continents to play international gigs.

Both D-Unity and Matt Sassari are solo artists, but when they come together and collaborate their combined output is stuff of legend.

The first track titled “I Like It” has a thick foundation laid by the tracks pounding kick drum. Powerful vocals infuse the track with energy, pulsating pads provide enthralling tension, and bass stabs provide the final touch to this high octane slice of hands in the air Techno.

Track two “All I Want Is” follows the same formula as the first, but with a Hip Hop influenced vocal sample it has more of a party vibe. With a slight tribal influence from the rolling percussion this dancefloor focused track
is a prefect party starter.

To celebrate MOOD's half century of dispatches since launching almost five years ago, Nicole Moudaber has revisited her monolithic mind-melt with the don of all dons, Carl Cox. An unabashed dark drama workout originally released in 2014, the cheekily-titled 'See You Next Tuesday' is considered a classic by many and still elevates floors to insane highs to this day. As will these remixes…

Commissioned to highlight the label's milestone release, MOOD have pulled out every single stop possible with some of the most exciting and innovative names of all time and every shade of the techno palette is splashed across this epic eight track trove. The one and only Danny Tenaglia takes us back to Twilo with his hip-swinging bassline and hypnotic prowess; the unstoppable tech house duo Solardo get twisted with just the right levels of jack attack; Truncate fixes our focus on the visceral physical techno energy; Trunkline get carnal with a tribal rawness; Black Asteroid super-charge the groove with a palpable electric sizzle; Raxon flips the groove into a driven, warm techno roller that doesn't quit from here till next Tuesday.

Complete with both original versions, this eight-track odyssey between two kindred spirits doesn't just celebrate MOOD's 50th release but revels in everything that's exciting and thriving about techno past, present and future. Here's to the next 50 MOOD dispatches!
