In fact, Stockton may be more infamous for its violence than its violins, yet a young emcee named Carlos Bryant has a slightly different outlook on his hometown. "Stockton," Carlos states, "it's dangerous and beautiful at the same time." Despite his difficult surroundings, Carlos is using his past experiences as musical motivation.
