We’re excited to bring you another killer two track release from a man who’s at the top of his game right now - Colombo.

“Blasted” sets the pace here with crisp beats and a deep bassline which move nicely alongside the vocodered vocal line and spoken word section.  There’s an eerie feel throughout this one, especially at the halfway point where some heavier synth work and breakbeats give us some mid-section madness.

Bringing up the rear is “Retromus” which raises the energy level with a bouncier feel to the beats, an eastern-flavoured hook, and some great cut up vocals.  This is Colombo in party mode, and definitely one for peak time sets.

With other releases already on Soul:R, Fabio’s Creative Source, Ingredients and more this is one Manchester export that we’ll be hearing a lot more of in then future. ‘Break It’ kicks off with a simple intro with only a teasing glimpse of the bass that’s about to drop but when it does you’d best be ready! A stepper’s paradise then as the staccato break rolls on with deep sub and the gurgling mid-range that serve the ‘break it’ vocal perfectly. A very polished production indeed. ‘Four’ is all pitched down warning sirens and sinister pads from the off, creating an uneasy atmosphere for the crystal clear beats to bump into and move out across another slab of delicate but dangerous D&amp;B for the deeper heads on the floor. Aquí tenéis la sesión exclusiva que realicé el pasado Sábado 14 de Noviembre en la RETRO MUSIC FESTIVAL 2015, evento organizado por RAVE ART y en el que yo cerraba el segundo escenario NUSKOOLBREAKZ de 06:00 a 06:50. Quiero dar las gracias a todos una vez más por hacerme sentir todo lo que el pasado fin de semana sentí, gracias por vuestro apoyo incondicional.
