Rob composed this a couple of years ago after we'd been on holiday to the Llyn Penninsula, North Wales. Inspired by the wild beauty of Pen Llyn's north coast, this track captures the sound and spirit of the ocean crashing into the land. Photo taken from the cliffs at Traeth Tudweiliog.

Oh, No, not another protest song!
Dear friends, weapons are increasingly being rattled in both large and small countries. The common people certainly don't want any wars! The warmongers can sit safely in their palaces while the populace suffers hellish agony!!
There is very little discussion about how much the acts of war are damaging our climate. Probably a lot, considering all the explosions, oil consumption, and fires, and then cities to be rebuilt!
It is our duty to make a stop for these madness!
It is important that all people on our planet are treated fairly! Then we won't get any hate! As a child I was taught that it is absolutely forbidden to kill other people! World leaders, please listen to the words from an old medical doctor!

Our Duty

Are we going to kill the whole world the next year
there is someone who takes the liberty to send
things that burn and explode and release
all those substances which are the cause of the hurricanes
There should be - someone, who can correct those guys

They have told me that I should not drive my car with gasoline
and I should not eat meat from cattles that fart
but it seems to be unfair for me
when the warlords consume a lot of fuel for their tanks
it is better to ban all the wars on this globe

I wonder what are they doing with all ruins from the war
can they build brand new schools or hospitals for kids
It seems terribly hard for them
They are very, very poor and all their tools are gone with the wind
We wish them many better and brighter days

Born in México City in 1955, started playing at an early age. In Mexico, I played with bands like  "Atrás del Cosmos", "Queso Sagrado", " Broken Heart", "Decibel", "Bardo Thodol", "Kathmandu Ensemble", Silent Light. In New York City I played with Bands like, "King"s East", "In The Service Of", "Fist of Facts", "Desire", "Dense Undergrowth"," "Matahari", "Like Wow", "Devil's Breakfast", "Muse Mob", "Atlantis 3000", "Monster", "Zenith", "Andromeda Crash" "Night Shade", I also collaborated with Hector Zazou, Harold Budd, Elliott Levin, Dennis Charles, Tetsu Inoue, Bettina Koster. Barbara Gogan, Salvatore Principato, Ken Man, Scott Hartley, Thomas Truax and many others. For many years I also wrote Jingles for a lot of products like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Mc Donalds, Toyota, Kodak, Payless Shoes, Rothman's, Salsa Tabasco, JC Penny, Liberty Science Center, American Heart Association, MCI, Reebok, AT&T, Fanta, Play Movil, etc, I also made music for Viacom writing music for cartoon networks, Bravo TV, Chanel 1, and MTV. Also wrote music for Bill Moyers (PBS)and also for Fax TV in Germany.
