Beautiful Stranger

Cognac, like Champagne, is named after the area of France from whence it originates. In order to be considered worthy of the name, the brandy must be produced in the area surrounding the town of Cognac and it must be made at least 90% from three varieties of grapes that grow in the region, Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche or Colombard grapes. In fact, those are only two of the criteria required by the Bureau National Interprofessionel du Cognac (BNIC), the body that has ultimate control over whether or not a brandy may be called Cognac.Considering the specific processes required to produce the most basic variety of the drink, the most expensive Cognac in the world must be something special indeed.
...oh, and this is a dope beat too...

The track comes in 4 remix versions by an international line up of DJ's/ producers such as DJ Tieks of London's Ministry of Sound reputation, Moods from Rotterdam, Dani Hageman from Moscow and Auro from Amsterdam.The remixes are mastered by Chris Gehringer (Rihanna, Drake, Tiesto a.o.) in NYC. Original co-written by Chaka Khan and Stephen Emmer and taken from the Home Ground album by Stephen Emmer, which received international critical acclaim and was awarded with the Golden Global Music Award in the USA.

The 1940 Broadway show "Higher and Higher" introduced the Rodgers and Hart tune, “It Never Entered My Mind.” The melody is almost transparent in its simplicity and, in the vacuum of rudimentary harmonies found in standard versions by Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald, only the lyrics keep it alive. But what lyrics. Brought up to date with modern harmonies and instrumentation, this is a this love song of unheeded warning.

A quick two day project turned into another upbeat jazzy track. A return to the saxophone after a few months was incredibly cathartic, if a little sketchy. A catchy anthem for sunny days that are hopefully to come.

In New York City I played with Bands like, "King"s East", "In The Service Of", "Fist of Facts", "Desire", "Dense Undergrowth"," "Matahari", "Like Wow", "Devil's Breakfast", "Muse Mob", "Atlantis 3000", "Monster", "Zenith", "Andromeda Crash" "Night Shade", I also collaborated with Hector Zazou, Harold Budd, Elliott Levin, Dennis Charles, Tetsu Inoue, Bettina Koster. Barbara Gogan, Salvatore Principato, Ken Man, Scott Hartley, Thomas Truax and many others. For many years I also wrote Jingles for a lot of products like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Mc Donalds, Toyota, Kodak, Payless Shoes, Rothman's, Salsa Tabasco, JC Penny, Liberty Science Center, American Heart Association, MCI, Reebok, AT&T, Fanta, Play Movil, etc, I also made music for Viacom writing music for cartoon networks, Bravo TV, Chanel 1, and MTV. Also wrote music for Bill Moyers (PBS)and also for Fax TV in Germany.
