We are back agian after a quick break! This time we have none other then Carl Richter! Dance music fan since the late 90’s and an active part of the Malmö scene since  2012, Carl Richter has always been carrying the house flag high. Numerous clubs and projects at various locations over the years, and part of FAUNA Collctive (@faunacollective) that’s been throwing euphoric parties since 2016. Also co-founder of H.H.A.S. Q: What made you start DJing?
A: I started at as the guy who burnt CD’s with dance music before I eventually realized I could mix the tracks myself as well. It just came out of passion and interest.

Q: Describe your style in three words.
A: Dance music only.

Q: Your best set in 2023/2024?
A: Didn’t go out a lot lately, sorry.

A track from our own @carlrichter, originally written five years ago, featuring spoken word of Rahsaan Roland Kirk (1935-1977), American jazz multi-instrumentalist who was renowned for his onstage vitality and his ability to play several instruments simultaneously. Here an excerpt from his "Bright Moments" (https://youtu.be/0z2E7ZWd0Hc) is used in the foundation in an hommage to all those who - just like ourselves  - are Saturday night people.

"My tribute to one of my absolute favorite bands of the 90's - Blur.
Not exactly known to make anything close to electronic dance music, I for some reason got the idea to re-work their atmospheric anthem 'The Universal' (released on the album 'The Great Escape' back in 1995) into a slightly more house-y piece of music. Literally making my version the 'Next Century' edit. Thanks Damon, Graham, Alex and Dave for timeless music."
