The Good I Know

This is a take on the book of Colossians where we are asked, why do we keep ordinances?  This is about the relationship between what someone tells you to do, and what we choose to hear, so then we act on hearing.  When someone wants to hear something from someone they know, which makes them more likely to get involved with it, then they would ask, per se, What it is?  This is a kind of country slang term.

So Long Solo

This is a song about how a man can be affected by woman and to be harmed to cause his own detriment.  The main gesture is encouragement of strength, so that one can refrain from such acts as the embedded hook claims. The lyrics do not degrade women and explain how men abuse their attributes and worth.

Scriptural content: Drawn from king Solomon (firstborn of David), the book of Proverbs pertaining to "Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?" (6:27), the great harlot of harlots in revelation, and spiritual/carnal struggle in relation to every man.  The song does not refer to any particular woman type.

Free LoFi Drum Kit "Lunar"

This is an underground hip-hop style and spiritual rap form. It is a conscious rap style emphasizing faith in Jesus Christ. The sound can somewhat be taken as spoken word rap. The rap sticks to an east-coast-grass-roots Hip-hop form, rather than trying to echo -modern rap. It focuses on meaningful and deep sayings but can be misconstrued as indie rap. However, much of the lyrical compression is inspired by Wu-tang. The content contains advocacy, for people mislabeled by religion as backsliders. There is some calling out of hypocrisy in the congregation.  The lyrics stick to biblical truth. It's a movement of rap flow to encourage confidence in God and yourself. Also, it seeks to be welcoming of all men regardless of gender and sexual orientation, by sticking to the main focus of scripture. Lastly, the Hip-hop is intended to sound modern, but refrain from being traditionally cheesy Christian rap or superficially shallow in content.

Bio: Born in San Diego in 1980
I Grew up on hip hop since the age of 5 (1985) &
was raised in the southern MD/D.C. area, for 15 Years.  Being housed in the Huntington and Bannister neighborhoods in Waldorf, Maryland; I grew fond of St. Charles County, MD.  I Moved back to California in 2000 at the age of 20 and I currently live in the city of Long Beach, California.
