Up This High(2010) is the second studio album by Carly Thomas (and the Gentle Ladies), a long awaited follow up to her Debut Album, Distance, which was released in 2003. With earthy undertones and honest lyrics, the disc will likely have you wanting more. A welcome change from the typical, but with a voice which is easy to relate to, she has that something which makes folk-ish music interesting and intelligent.

Currently based in London, ON, won a 2015 Jack Richardson music award for contemporary singer/songwriter. Her music is characteristic of modern folk, rock, and country. She has recently toured across Canada in support of her latest release, Explode (2014).
