Welcome to what was supposed to be a mini-collab to celebrate A Chance Of Redemption, a soundcloud tournament beloved by many, hosted by the great Etroup. We had many plans to make this a huge collab, with every character getting art and 2 parts of a track, each representing a part of the roster. Sadly, we couldn't get all of the art done, and we could only represent half of the roster in this track, made by me (Carmel), many people helped with this project, so let's list them:

So off the bat immediately, this man was at no point intended to be a subject. Perhaps through dumb luck, or maybe sheer mortal fucking will, he managed to find his way into our clutches. Fellow members such as myself attest that he overpowered them with voice alone, shouting about reproductive organs and contorting his body in strange ways as he walked through [REDACTED].

Right, the white noise. . . As for the "subject's" exposure to the white noise, it was bafflingly swift. He expressed no signs of pain to any effect, though did seem to be heavily hallucinating, yelling at people that simply were not there, once again regarding sexual organs and bodily functions associated with them. Once he seemed well and done with his routine, he was devoured by the white noise.

As amoral or against policy as it may be, I must admit that the copy that came out was endlessly entertaining. Whereas prior, the man who we would learn to be named "Coach Buzzcut", prior citizen of [REDACTED], had some semblance of sanity and motive left in him, aggressive yet still coherent, his copy was entirely different.

His copy was in a way, an incredibly flanderized replica of himself, now constantly making noise and inhumanly moving around, yelling far more, and somehow managing to be more crass. Further study is required, though I believe that I may need to [REDACTED] in order to [REDACTED]. End Log.

So. We're here again. Honestly I'm starting to think that they don't want me here because I keep "throwing your personal distastes into the white noise". Yknow what? Fuck you! This is science, we're doing SCIENCE. THIS IS RESEARCH YOU [DATA EXPUNGED] . . .

Anyways, the pixies. Weird set of them, one of them looks like [REDACTED]. Prior to exposure they just wouldn't shut up, and it was getting on my nerves. Me and Timmy Turner are already on thin ice after I drowned him but this is too far. These guys were super loud up until they got slurped up, and this was probably the longest time it has ever taken. I left to go sleep and when I came back in the morning they were still going.

After they got fully dealt with by the static shitstorm, what came out was strange. If you've ever accidentally played a vinyl like a turntable, you'll know what I'm talking about. It was like a weird. DJ mix of their stupid song. Reminds me of [REDACTED], Honestly. Regardless, the copies were somehow louder and less appealing to the ears, but didn't move as much. They stayed in static pose for a pretty long time, like cardboard cutouts with a shitty tape recorder playing their mixtape was slapped onto the back. In conclusion, I should really clean this up before the soda bear finds me. End Log

This was very sad to do. Not sad because of emotional shit, or whatever. It's simply because of how it all went. 

It was sad to watch him rant about his kingdom, start to dance to distract us, and several other tricks up his dirty sleeve. The ''king'' may as well be the most scared of all of the subjects so far. His ego also struck hard, constantly yelling things like ''Do you know who you're dealing with?'' followed by cheesy quotes about how he's the best, or dumb remarks about his followers.

I almost didn't want to start writing this, but a job is a job. For as... energetic as this subject is, he was engulfed pretty quickly. As he screamed, the white noise got his body in almost one second. He didn't even get a chance to resist. 

The copy that came away was... about the same level of annoying. We let it roam around freely at [REDACTED] , his stance always seemingly being that of a luxurious, egotistic king. End log.

Wahoo! It's me, your favorite platformer mole friend, Scrimblo Bimblo!

The current subject was an asshole. A genuine asshole. Fucking assaholic bitch. He didn't do much to retaliate really, just as we escorted him in he gave us a matter of several flattering insults (all delivered in rap, of course). He did struggle a bit when it came to the door, trying to push us away, after a small struggle we managed to kick him in though. 

Altough it latched onto his leg almost instantly, it took a long while for it to work it's way up. Like a snake the noise crawled it's way up his body, his insults growing in desperacy as it grew higher and higher. He tried to break free, but it's grip was rock solid. It was hard, watching him break as the static engulfed him, but that's what this job entails I suppose. The last thing we saw was his screaming face underneath his helmet, him unsuccessfully trying to claw it off the glass. 

Once the static subsided back, the clone was.. strange... It spoke in entirely quotes from the song, although little bits of the original astronaut's personality remained, he was like a spliced up melting pot of his former self. Unable to talk coherently, and extremely horrible social capabilities. We'll keep logs on him for sure. End Log.

So. We're back. This process gives me... slight trauma, but it's better pay than cleaning the stuff up... the warehouse we're doing this in has been attacked recently. Scrimblo Bimblo of N32 fame, a real-ass Oreo, some intern with squidlike hair, even fucking Pablo Escobar...

This next experiment made me... frown. Our target was one certain ice fairy / hip hop legend named Cirno. Fitting for 9/9, I suppose. I wasn't excited to find Cirno and begin the process, and when our forces did allocate her and subdue her, it didn't seem like she quite wanted this either. We had to drag her off, nearly kicking, screaming, and making a mess out of everything. When we got her in the testing lab, and told her the procedure, she looked almost distraught... but picked herself up and began, uh, rapping at me. It was cute. I grabbed her by the dress and threw her in the chamber.

Once she was in, and was face-to-face with the Noise, it seemed like her bars grew in intensity; and weren't directed at me, even. She started rapping about inequality and the unfair rights we had to apprehend her and use her as a test subject at the White Noise. Y'know, the Noise likes musicians. Indeed, it was a... minute long affair. Heh... call that immediate arrest. Hah. Haha... I'm so lonely.

The clone that came out seemed more... gangster. Street cred-seeking. Her raps continued in ebb and flow once she left the mass of Noise, but they weren't about the wrongdoings of the boys in blue. She was reduced to rapping about having money and bitches. What an unfortunate end for such a talented mind and songwriter... that's the heart of the cards, though.

I tell myself we're nearing the end soon. We have to be running out of lab rats. I don't know how much more of this I can do. End Log.

I swear I just did one of these today. I'm about to just hand this down to Scurvy, or the intern I mentioned that we fired. I really don't wanna do this again, but... well, a job's a job. I'll serve who I must, even if I hate that bucktoothed baby of a baron...

Our next subject was... a bug. With a wooden sword. It was easy to get him in the testing chamber, in fact. He agreed to the experiment terms if I defeated him, and thereby challenged me to a duel. I knocked him unconscious. With a fishing pole.

We dragged him into the chamber room, and he jolted awake. After evacuating our staff and closing the doors, we released the Noise. Zote gave a mighty roar, and started swinging his 'Life Ender' at the blurry mass. Strangely enough, he... didn't get entered into the Noise. It seemed to reject him, in fact, shifting away every time Zote closed the distance to cleave the Noise. It was like cat and mouse, and somehow, the Noise was the mouse.

Eventually, we had come to the conclusion that this just... wasn't going anywhere. Zote wouldn't get Noise'd - maybe because of his whole being a shell thing - and the Noise was still hungry for a true soul.

... hey, I hear someone. Another break-in. ... wait, is that-?
Hm. Well, you know what they say. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, no? I'll let history write itself. That'll buy me time to get out too, and find my coworkers. One certain Jurvy Biscuit comes to mind...
