MORBUS, Banda de Brutal Death Metal Venezolana formada en 1996 en la cuidad de Punto Fijo- Estado Falcón, que tiene en su haber dos CD editados hasta la fecha como lo son el “MILENIO” de 1999 y “THE BEGINNING OF THE LASCIVIOUS ADDICTION” del año 2004, así como también participaciones en diversos recopilatorios importantes tanto a nivel nacional como internacional que le ha permitido obtener una muy buena reputación en la escena metalera Venezolana y que les ha permitido presentarse en diferentes ciudades del país como: Caracas; Barquisimeto, Cabimas, Puerto Ordaz, Puerto la cruz, Maracay, Coro, Etc.; y les ha llevado a compartir tarima con un amplio numero de excelentes bandas Venezolanas así como también bandas de talla internacional como lo son AVULSED, AGRESION, AMPUTATED GENITALS y una de las bandas más importantes del Death Metal mundial como lo es DEICIDE. Actualmente se encuentran trabajando en el material que formara parte de su Tercera producción discográfica, se espera este finalizada a mediados del próximo año y que tendrá alrededor de 11 temas. La banda también participó en el CD recopilatorio que del conocido sello disquero internacional Mutilated Records, que reúne a una gran diversidad de bandas extremas de varios países a nivel mundial y en el cual Morbus se convierte en la única banda Venezolana en estar presente y que sirvió para expandir su música a otras latitudes. En Noviembre de 2007 la banda tuvo el honor de participar en uno de los festivales de música extrema más reconocidos del vecino país COLOMBIA, como lo fue el BOGOTA GRIND DEATH FEST VI, junto a 11 bandas Colombianas, aparte de las bandas DECOMPOSE de Argentina y los Venezolanos VERMINOUS. Para Mayo de 2009 entra a las filas de MORBUS Henry Zea como nuevo guitarrista. Con el lanzamiento de su tercer álbum se espera un gran número de presentaciones a nivel nacional para promocionar dicho trabajo.

Jim has been playing the guitar for over 15 years,while studying classical &  jazz, harmony-counterpoint-orchestration and composition.He is a member of a Greek death metal trio, named Carnal Redemption, performing live shows and sharing the stage with some of the greatest acts in the Greek scene.Composing  for a future all-instrumental release, genred  between JAZZ-FUSION,METAL,ORCHESTRAL, is his top  priority at the moment.Audio and video Samples pending......stay tuned!!!

Carnal Redemption were formed in 2000, in Athens, Greece by Nondas, Nick and George R. In 2001 we released our demo "The Limits Of Persistence" which received very positive feedback by the underground death metal community worldwide. Obligatory military services put the band in ice for almost three years and the band became fully active again in 2005. During this period we recorded our "Cerebral Chaos" mcd but shortly after that, founding member George R. left the band for personal reasons and was replaced by George L. The band did several live shows but reasons irrelevant to music made it difficult for the band to rehearse frequently for almost five years . George L. left the band and was replaced by Jim on guitars in 2010. A two track promo was released in 2011 and was followed by many live shows in Greece with some of the finest local bands. We recently completed the recordings of our debut "Utter Depression" lp, the first official release in 8 years.
