Jakob Haq aka "Foona" from Studio 5 was born in Sweden 1979. Member of the artist collective P.T.C-Crew. Producer of Roots and Dub using homebuilt DIY electronic equipment. Foona released his debut album Foonas InI Sound in March 1 2009. Foona decided to make his first release free and the album is available as a free download on the Reggae blog site Rebelmusic.se

Damian Skoczylas known as Syjon Fam is founder and vocalist of polish ComeYah band. Inspired by reggae music and spiritual side of reggae-affined culture. Syjon had very varied music experience: he had been making beats for hiphop crews, playing ethnic drums or playing rhythm guitar in polish roots reggae Natura band („Wielki Haj” LP). When he’s not abroad he works in local car service station. Conscious lyrics about daily life and inner experiences are the main poinof Syjon’s singing and writing.

Three main subjects of Dubrising activity are: producing music, recording and mixing vocalists and live performances (Dubrising Live). In 2010 Jarek Dyś created and published via 4weed.net netlabel international V.A album "Dub Fresh Air" which took great feedback all over the world and has over 30'000 official downloads! In Rising Sound Studio he creates riddims for vocalists, remixes and his own dub songs. Cooperated with such as: Natty B, Junior Stress, Bas Tajpan, Jabaman, Lady Dębowa, Syjon Fam,  Rhys Trimble, Foona, Doubla J, Sensithief.

THE STORY 



 Born unexpected, in a night with full moon, under a strange sign.
 A dancing Creole mother and a Sakalava father with big ears gave life to a funny pair of twins, between some palmtrees and a gramophone...

 The parents called the girl Kick and the boy Snare.
Their first word was: ''beat''.
and their first wonder: ''mama what is head-nodding?''

 So, the Kick and the Snare had the dream to travel the world and collect traditional recordings. So they did.
From Peruvian and Colombian mountains to the neighbourhoods of New Orleans and Harlem. And from Jamaican and Brazilian coasts to the rivers of Nigeria and Angola.
But that was not enough for them. They also travelled in time. From the early 1930's Swing era to the late 1970's Hip Hop and from the 1960's Chicha, Funk and Reggae to 1990's D'n'B.

 And then came a time when the Kick and the Snare got tired...and decided to seal all these records in a box, with the inscription:     ''The Carnibal Records'', and threw it in the ocean...

 The box was floating around the world for many years, until a mighty pirate called Spikos found it somewhere between the islands of Syros and Amorgos and trade it for a pink hat and 2 kilos of shrimps. 

 The box got unsealed by these two oddly monikered fishermen called 
Palov & Panama Cardoon. 
 Luckily the sea had shuffled the traditional sounds with the modern beats. They looked each other and their surpise came with the idea of releasing all these strange sounds.

 The year was 2012... and it was a nice year.
