The metal band you know today as “A PRICE ON THE KING’S HEAD,” started as a jamming session between guitarists; Werner Fourie & Wihan Mouton (My Life Story; Tristia). Wanting to create music that was unique yet still true to their individual influences they started writing new material. 

Early 2013 saw the puzzle pieces fall into place as they were joined by the current drummer, Jonathan Burgers (War Corpse), adding a challenging and energetic tempo to every tune. 
After many hours of writing and practice, the guys began recording their ‘soon-to-be-released’ EP as well as searching for a suitable vocalist. 

Their search led them to their current vocalist, Brendan Glover (Sindulgence; The Plague), known for his presence and energy on stage; this was the perfect choice for their brand of metal. 

With just one slot open in the line-up, a unanimous decision was made to recruit Bernard Haasbroek A.K.A Bernie on bass guitar. With his knowledge in sound as well as his experience in the scene, he was a welcomed addition to the APOTKH camp.

With a full line-up and gig preparation in full swing, “A PRICE ON THE KING’S HEAD” are rearing to go. 
Expect intensity and relentless energy on stage, with a hard-hitting approach to their genre, this band is capable and more than willing to tear down the old and replace it with their new, heavy metal.

En route from a popular career in Drum & Bass as “Multicrisis”, STADIG boasts a renewed approach to the techno scene, vaunting a cult-like entourage at every show with his mélange of dark, dominant and energetic sounds that resonate modern techno from the heart of its origin.

STADIG is rapidly gaining popularity along the way to festival stages with his contagious, purist passion for the genre, paired with his viral on-stage demeanour.
