I have been walking the earth since the
early '50s. I am an ex-mill-rat,
ex-(Calumet)region-rat, ex-chemist,
dead-mathematician, ex-programmer,
musician, composer, earth-walker.
I have two musical directions, I play,
perform, and teach traditional Japanese
classical music for the shakuhachi
(an end blown bamboo flute), and I play,
compose, and perform experimental
electronic music. All the electronic music I
compose and perform is and can be done
in real-time (i.e. I don't use multi-tracking
or computer manipulation for my compositions).
Whenever I record anything, either electronic
or on the shakuhachi, it is done in real-time
just as it would have been done on the stage
or in an intimate setting.

Davey Thomas Tucker welcomed music into his life at an early age when he
uncovered his grandmother’s passion for songwriting. Since his discovery, rooted deep in his family’s history, Davey pursues the art of narrative as communicated through the language of music.

Today, Tucker works as an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and composer,
exploring an embracing all path of story telling with composition, songwriting,
and performance. His critically acclaimed works include his original scores for
A&E/Lifetime Network’s 2016 Television series Fall Into Me and PBS Digital
Studio’s VR short film My Brother’s Keeper. He has also sold out concert
performances with renowned group Pink Martini at Boston’s historic Symphony
Hall and Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, California.

Tucker often draws inspiration from benchmark figures of the minimalist
movement—his music capturing a luminous collection of unique timbres,
intimate piano, and warm electroacoustic textures that creates an immersive
environment of otherworldly soundscapes.

Guitariste et compositeur, Shaun Ferguson propose une musique instrumentale moderne, libre et transcendante. Natif de la Péninsule acadienne au Nouveau-Brunswick (Canada), il captive son auditoire avec sa personnalité charismatique et ses envolées musicales qui plaisent tant aux passionnés qu’aux publics moins avertis. Son premier album Ascensions est paru en 2011. Fort de son parcours musical cumulant près de deux décennies, il nous présente maintenant son deuxième opus Résilience, en décembre 2017.

Autodidacte, Shaun Ferguson s’est laissé guider par son instinct pour apprendre à jouer, à composer et à exploiter des sonorités qui vibrent en harmonie avec ses idées musicales. Au fil de ses collaborations avec d’autres artistes, il a transposé son habileté de la guitare au violoncelle, à la basse ainsi qu’à d’autres instruments à cordes et aux percussions. Shaun apprécie l’art sous toutes ses formes et se plaît à prendre part à des projets alliant poésie, arts visuels (ou danse) et musique.
 
Depuis une dizaine d’années, certaines compositions de l’artiste ont voyagé à travers le monde par le biais de la compagnie montréalaise Intermède Média. Jusqu’à ce jour, le public a pu entendre des extraits de ses pièces dans le cadre de documentaires télédiffusés au Canada, au Royaume-Uni, au Danemark, en Australie, en Espagne, en France, en Corée du Sud, au Japon, à Hong Kong et aux États-Unis.
