If you are able to bear with me, consider yourself as a molecule of astral rain coming back into land from a considerable period of time away, to once again remind your self into the memory of the Earth’s waters. A sense of the mother waters and the father waters making love, from which we are conceived.

I use the word Amazing several times, I make no apology, it being a word the Children use all the time. I have left much pause for reflection, consideration and respect.

The Consideration - Michael O'Donnell

As a regenerative design practitioner, social ecologist, and community animator, Jessamie creates spaces that foster belonging, connection, and resilience. Her work weaves consulting, events, and cultural design, always centering relationships, place-based wisdom, and living systems. Through Emergent Belonging, her Substack newsletter, she shares insights on ritual, home, and community, offering a window into their practice of reimagining how we gather, heal, and build together.

I work with a unique synthesis of sense of place research, visual arts communications, land art and sculpture making, embracing deep ecological philosophies, arts activism and people and place mythologies. With a focus on multidisciplinary civic projects in the past 16 years, my large scale work includes public art and involvement in urban design master planning, civic construction and large scale infrastructure projects, all of which utilize my highly collaborative methods, helping to bring the stories of people and place alive in the design of buildings and physical landscapes.
