The „Dirty Ragga Squad“ sound system was founded by DJ R2D2 (Berlin) in 2004. Since then they did more than 350 performances internationally. According to their motto „danceable and with a fat bassline“, they take you on world tour through dancehall, reggae, tropical bass und hip hop. Inspired by the musical diversity of Germany’s capital you can also find Balkan beats, breakbeats, house as well as ragga jungle and dubstep in the Dirty Ragga Squad DJ sets, depending on the situation. They don’t just reel off the usual predetermined set list, they’re always able to adapt to the respective vibe. Dub plates, remixes und their own songs round off the set and make it unique.
Dirty Ragga Squad has organized and hosted the monthly night “DANCEHALLVIBES” for 11 years. It serves as an opportunity for an exchange with artists, national and international, and is a platform for well-known as well as unknown artists to present themselves in Berlin.

Das 2004 vom Berliner Dj R2D2 ins Leben gerufene Soundsystem “Dirty Ragga Squad” kann inzwischen auf mehr als 350 internationale Auftritte zurückblicken. Nach dem Motto “tanzbar und mit fetter Bassline” nimmt Dirty Ragga Squad sein Publikum mit auf eine musikalische Weltreise zwischen Dancehall, Reggae, Tropical Bass und HipHop. Inspiriert von der musikalischen Vielfalt der Hauptstadt finden – je nach Anlass – auch Balkan Beats, Breaktbeats, House sowie Ragga Jungle und Dubstep ihren Platz in Dirty Ragga Squads DJ-Sets. Hier wird kein vorgefertigtes Programm abgeliefert, sondern spontan auf den jeweiligen Vibe eingegangen. Dubplates, Remixe und eigene Produktionen runden die Sets ab und machen sie einzigartig. 
Mit der Partyreihe “DANCEHALLVIBES”, die monatlich in Berlin stattfindet, fördert Dirty Ragga Squad seit 11 Jahren den Austausch mit Künstlern aus dem In- und Ausland und bieten bekannten sowie unbekannteren Talenten eine Plattform, sich dem Berliner Publikum zu präsentieren.
