Curiosity comes in many forms and Marinov managed to make it into a full time passion, in many music related fields. In the early 90’s it came in the form of cassettes’, morphing into CD’s and, eventually, the best that digital could provide. Only after going through music in almost all forms, the decision was made regarding the one that will go further in this journey: vinyl. Still, the curiosity remains and fuels the creative process further. Sounds, beats and rhythms’ are masterfully put together, complementing each mood, heartbeat and life moment.

Our special guest for this episode is a romanian dj and producer based in Dublin.
Hari on his real name Patrascu Hariton was born in Romania in 1984. His first contact with the music took place early in his childhood when he started breakdancing and founded a crew. His Dj-ing career started as a hobby in 2007, playing in bars and clubs in his hometown, Alba Iulia.  His passion for underground house music became more than a hobby in 2010, when he started his music producer career. He had some big releases on labels such as Tzinah-records, Unfelde, Conceptual Records, Mind Hub, Phonic House.
Enjoy his groovy tunes along with his soulful vibe for the next hour!

Our story, together with Matthew Harrington, started strong and fast. We exchanged few words and connected straight from our shared passion for the underground electronic sounds. We have created an amazing synergy together without doubt big things are coming!!

Hailing from Essex, UK and finding a home playing for brands such Un.usual, Pleasurerooms and Paravibe London based events, Matthew Harrington focusing on his production and dj style on the darker side of Romanian Minimal, with a fluidly expressed tune selection of dark minded creeping grooves, taking influence from likes of Mihigh, Paul K and others such as Jonas Hassan, Pheek.
You will find him playing in abandoned warehouses, canal boats and forests rather than the club environment alongside Suciu, Bryz, Crihan, Janeret, Prajescu, Dragusanu. Releasing on labels such as Wowie Music, Zebra Records, Welter Records, The Lab, Minimo, Seism, Well Kept Secrets and more, this producer and DJ continues to develop his name in the UK minimal scene with pace.

From the very first moments of the journey, the listener finds himself immersed in a psychedelic universe, embodied by appearances of flutes, vocals or piano. This fabulous background is in stark contrast to a racy minimal with a tight groove that goes on and on.
The artist shines by his ability to create a remarkable tension with few elements and a flawless mix. We find a number of his own productions, which accentuates the homogeneity of the selection. Throughout the set, the tracks that follow one another include a panoply of hits reminiscent of Musique Concrète, as well as many organic and acoustic elements such as ride cymbals. At times, Razvan also has the ability to take you to very dark places with spooky and UFO sounds, but always remaining groovy and round.
In the end, this two-hour set is one of a kind with pure, seamless esthetics and a very mature storytelling.
