Laminated Animals likes to think of himself as a professional saxophone player even though he doesn't play very much saxophone lately. He just moved to Cambridge from Hong Kong, and is one half of Windowsill & Ashtray, formerly the most obnoxious folk duo in Asia, and now the third or fourth most obnoxious folk duo in Cambridge. Michal Garcia is an internationally touring, award-winning multi-instrumentalist and DJ with a specialty in trumpet, composition and the occasional spanish rap.

Michal Garcia has performed extensively throughout Asia and North America including China, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia, The Philippines, United States, Canada and Mexico as well as performing for TEDx in Hong Kong. As part of the acclaimed electronic duo The Anello he also released the Next2Me EP to a
nearly sold out show and subsequent performance at Asia’s premier music festival, Clockenflap which included an interview of the band on Reuters Television and others via South China Morning Post . Third Culture labeled them as one of the TOP 5 international indie bands to listen to, BOOM Magazine listed
The Anello as HK’s Hottest Band and they were also voted as Hong Kong’s Best Band in a poll by HKELD . Recently, he was a headlining act at Toronto Union Station’s Union Summer .

He has shared the stage with Turtle Giant, The Weathering, Nowhere Boys, Noughts & Exes, The White Eyes and China’s “Michael Jackson” Eason Chan.
