M.R.K.R. is a techno producer rooted in Chemnitz (formerly Karl-Marx-Stadt), Germany – a place shaped more by machinery and function than by hype. His sound reflects this origin: raw, loop-based, acid-infused, and stripped of anything unnecessary. No big drops, no soft hooks – just structure, friction, and momentum.

Rejecting the polished aesthetic of mainstream techno, M.R.K.R. focuses on functionality. These tracks weren’t built for playlist trends – they were built to function - for DJs and for systems. With an emphasis on physical drive and hypnotic tension, his music doesn’t decorate the floor – it pushes it forward. Acid, in his hands, isn’t a retro nod – it’s a living language.

Through self-releases and contributions to independent labels like TARON (BE), M.R.K.R. continues to carve out his own space: somewhere between classic hardware ethos and contemporary precision. His vision is clear – keep techno raw, focused, and rooted in purpose.

The electronic techno artwork from Carara is very powerfull and dynamic. You can discribe his sounds, very raw, dark with some underground dark voices.
His DJ sets are always like a train to ride with a monotone start and ending with a big bang after a nice climax.

Together with his techno partner in crime and soul partner E La Luna, they are the perfect match in the German techno underground scene.
