In the 94th episode of Techno Cartel Podcast we are pleased to host DBFB

DBFB is an electronic music duo comprised of Bosnyak and Observer, who share a passion for Detroit and Dub techno, crafting unique and captivating beats that draw listeners into their intricate soundscapes.

Bosnyak and Observer's love for electronic music is showcased in their debut EP, "Focus EP," released on After Us Records in 2022, followed by the releases of "1987 EP" and the latest offering, "Stones," which features remixes from Dj Orion and Philippe Petit. Their releases were supported and played by techno heavyweights like Richie Hawtin, Slam, Dax J., Carl Craig, Alexi Delano... Before these releases, Bosnyak had already garnered acclaim with well-received EPs like "3000" and "Grid."

Their music embodies their fascination with the genre and reflects their innovative approach to production. Driven by a relentless pursuit of creative innovation and a profound love for art, music, and technology, they are poised to further push electronic music's boundaries. Inspired by the fusion of art and technology, DBFB seamlessly weaves their passion for crafting immersive and thought-provoking experiences.

Beyond their music, the duo is dedicated to nurturing aspiring young producers through workshops. Their commitment to music and their local community is evident in ETER nights, the local parties they founded to foster the underground techno scene on the west coast of Istria.

DBFB - is a Croatian techno project founded by Bosnyak and Observer. They have released music on labels such as Planet Rhythm, Secession, Illegal Alien, Synergie, Ri7mo, Blur, Kongres, Rave Your Soul, and After Us. DBFB has performed at key events and festivals across Croatia, including SEASTAR Festival, SHIP, Seasplash, and Tunels, as well as in nearly every major club in the country.

Their latest vinyl release on Planet Rhythm is climbing the techno music charts and has received excellent feedback from leading industry figures. The Rhythmascend series has gained significant popularity, with support from DVS1, Steffi, Holden Federico, Matrixxman, Marcel Dettmann, and The Advent, among others. Their music is regularly played and supported by legendary artists such as Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, and Dax J.

Beyond their music, the duo nurtures aspiring young producers through

Desire to jack your body. And, as I told you before, this is
Our house and our house music. And in every house, you
Understand, there is a keeper. And, in this house, the keeper
Is Jack. Now some of you who might wonder.
Who is Jack, and what is it that Jack does?
Jack is the one who gives you the power to jack your body!
Jack is the one who gives you the power to do the snake.
Jack is the one who gives you the key to the wiggly worm.
Jack is the one who learns you how to walk your body.
Jack is the one that can bring nations and nations of all
Jackers together under one house.
You may be black, you may be white; you may be Jew or Gentile.
It don't make difference in our House.
And this is fresh!
