!nertia is a composer and performer who pushes the boundaries of sonic arts. His work explores the motion of sound through an instinctive way of working; he makes field recordings and then he extracts movement out of natural sounds, afterwards, he combines these elements into live electronics to create an endless journey. A smooth and organic blend, fusing the electronic and natural world into one ambience. This approach results into emotional, atmospheric and hypnotic art works, which mutate into performances to experience his narrative sound in diverse multi sensorial ways. His live electronic performances have different shapes like podium performance, art exhibitions and sound installations. Among !nertia collaborators are graphic designers, fine artists, musicians, composers.

In the 119th episode of Techno Cartel Podcast we are pleased to host MTD / Rhythm Assembler

Nicola Belligoli was born in Mantua, North Italy.  After several years of interest in electronic music, particularly in techno, and after experiencing the production world, he decides to open his own label together with its historic partner Tracy. 

In the winter between 2010 and 2011 Sonntag Morgen comes to life, initially only with digital releases and then also on wax. With the launch of the label MTD finds room to exhibit the best of his idea of Techno. Hypnotic and rough sounds influenced by dub and experimental moods, but he never stops to research and experiment new sounds or new techniques.

For this reason in 2018 he started his own new solo project “Methodical”, a label platform both vinyl and digital. And more recently he decided to create his new alias Rhythm Assembler, more focused on grooves and minimalistic sound. Today in his discography (both MTD and Rhythm Assembler alias) we can find a large variety of works on several international labels supported by numerous artists of the whole Techno music scene.

Born and raised in southern Italy, Jacom is an emerging techno DJ and producer based in Zurich. In 2006, he fully dedicated himself to electronic music, which quickly brought him behind the decks. When he moved to Zurich in 2012, his career took an exponential upswing. 2016 the talented Italian became a member of the renowned label Adroit and has been an integral part of the collective ever since. Ramon Tapia was born and raised in Holland, with a Dutch mother and Chilean father – his upbringing had an eclectic mix of cultures which in turn developed and influenced his decision to become a musician. 
As always Ramon likes to raise his bar and his sound evolves constantly with a new inspiring sound. In 2023 Ramon entered into the Raw Techno techno Top 10 charts with a bang, with tracks like his collaboration with Gaston Zani “Friction” on Planet Rhtyhm ”  and “Circular” on Christian Smith’s  Tronic Music in 2024 .Expect collabs and remixes for Pan-Pot , Hertz , Kmyle , A.Paul and much more.
Self-taught, gradually he started learning how to produce tracks solo, with a foundation in pounding techno and hardcore scene which resulted in several releases and remixes , while going to school to become a gold smith he had a job in Antwerp’s famous record store “USA import” where he sculpted a broad  taste in music and his production skills along the way.
He found his resurgence in the 00’s, forging a new school techno sound with his release ‘Land Of Drum’ on Pocket the sublabel of Music Man, a release on Gayle San’s label Equator and more house styled tracks on New York’s legendary Strictly Rhythm label. That's where his name catapulted into the limelight, becoming the biggest turning point for his career, resulting in a residency at Sankey’s Ibiza for three years, multiple bookings around the globe, rapidly growing loyal fan base and global recognition!
With an impressive collection of releases on some of the biggest labels, Ramon decided to start his very own imprint - Say What? Records in 2012. The label delivers a proper dancefloor-ready Techno from respected names and new kids pulling the wagon for the new generation under Ramon’s supervision.
His skills aren’t limited to producing. He is also a highly skilled DJ, performing for crowds all around the world. He has a special way of connecting with the audience and taking them on an intense musical journey with his rolling /up tempo, raw  sound. So far you might have danced with him on festivals like Tomorrowland, Caprices festival, Drumcode Festival, May Day, Loveland and the list is counting.

Berlin-based Toni Dextor is all about the story you can tell with music. Using sound oscillations to
shape the atmosphere of a room,
building up the intense energy at peak time and guiding audiences through mind-melting breakdowns
are aces you’ll find up his sleeve. Unsurprisingly, his decision to become a DJ was inspired by years of
clubbing. Not content with simply selecting the music however, Toni started producing in 2018 and has
since released on some of the finest electronic labels, local and international, such as
made of Concrete, Planet Rhythm, Adroit and OFF Recordings.
Toni Dextor's style is characterized by playing what he calls “functional” techno - you can always count on
an atmosphere that makes you forget the time. In his productions he draws on memories and revives
familiar feelings.
Channeling these relatable yet unique experiences from his own club-goer adventure into his own tracks is
essential for Toni. These elements, combined with his ongoing
experimentation with production techniques make him one of the figures to keep an eye out as he
continues to push through the rungs of the music scene.
