Gill Charleston started off as an Hip-Hop and R&B DJ in the early 90′s . During these years he has spinned the decks at well known Amsterdam venues such as Paradiso (during B-Boy Extravaganza), de Melkweg, Panama, and several other dance clubs in and outside of Amsterdam.
 
After being some years highly active in the Dutch Hip-Hop scene Gill started to expand his horizon by experimenting with electronic music.
 
His love for house music began to grow more and more. Gill visited every single important dance festival in Holland. From big names as Loveland, Day at the Park, Dance Valley, Mysteryland to the more innovative, alternative and small festivals and clubs like Awakenings, Studio 80, Welcome to the Future and Solar Festival. Gill's DJ/Producer heroes are Claude Vonstroke, Catz 'n Dogz, Umek, Marco Bailey, Jay Lumen, Funk D'Void, Format B and SuperFlu…just to name a few.
 
Gill is always eager to discover other places and seeks opportunities were house connoisseurs' can hear his signature of warm, groovy, funky/ tech-house techno & minimal sound. He plays and composes mind-blowing, body rocking, dynamic sets containing the best of the best together with his own tracks.
Each track is treated with precise care and proper timing, allowing them to build up to a climax. Consequently, no set will ever be predictable or identical.
 
In overall you could say that Gill is a Multi Musical artist who thinks beyond borders when it comes up to experience house at it's best!

Since 1991 I have been active as a DJ and like many other Dutch DJ’s I have been inspired by Ben Liebrand.  My music consists of limitless' swinging cross-overs in a funky beat.  I have a very broad music collection en like to join dance, club and deep-house together with the current trends in mixes.  I also am very experienced and passionate about mixing Disco/Party Classics, 80s, 90s and 00s in fun and often surprising compilations of all that pop/dance music has given us.
The majority of my experience was gained in clubs, “Grand-Cafes” and during company parties.  This experience allows me to understand the needs of a wide audience.  I can cater for background music, atmosphere control or a full blown party.  My motto: “Classics, Dance and More.......!”

I got in touch with goa and psytrance music in 1993 in the trance Buddha nightclub (Amsterdam). This experience made me attend many raves for years, until I reached a point where I somehow gradually lost touch with the scene.

But this silence was not for long, cause shortly after, a guy came up to me one day saying 'hey man you should check out this internet site called goatrance.net', and there I was.... Instantly hooked again! The raves in that period were mostly held in squat buildings. Those were the golden days. Towards the end of 1998 I started organizing parties myself. We also used squat buildings. Good times.

In 2004 I started focusing on producing goa and psytrance.

In 2018, me and my friend Voislav Trajkovski (Aka Kodra) teamed up and started producing trippy psychedelic sounds together. We'll be releasing an Ep’s in 2019.

In the mean time I'm still busy organizing raves and I'm crafting decorationpieces for a lot of parties. I also learned how to DJ in 2006. I'm playing goatrance, psychedelic trance, all the way up to fullon and morning psy.

My last gigs were 'Scumdogs meets WWDR' in nijmegen. played there twice this year and i have played at a squat party 'Anagraria' (Egmond, Holland)
