Over the course of the year, the label has assembled four different compositions reflecting each artist's devotion and fascination for synthesizers and drum machines. Melancholic arpeggiators, funk-driven techno grooves, and sharp-filtered vocoded sequences written by Edward Norton. Joyful minor-key bass lines carved into electro-wave atmospheres over Roland Tr-606, 808 rhythms summarize the sound palette behind "Nolla" a work programmed by Konerytmi, a brainchild of longtime electro musician Kirill Junolainen. The trance-inducing "Untitled 7" was written a long time ago by Jay Relf, Keyboardist of Astralasia & Magic Mushroom band before he left the group to work on solo projects and as Solar Plexus. "Out Of Reality" evokes transcending techno-ethereal, hope-giving atmospheres. Rickie's sound includes tribal-obscure early 90s influences around themes of lysergic trance-inducing pads.

EYA Records label has scored another big one here with this old-school House and Techno flavoured EP by UK producer Tom Carruthers. In the last couple of years, the Chesire music-making machine has impressed with a series of super solid releases on LIES and his own Non Stop Rhythm imprint.
“In Grooves EP” is an ode to the 90’s dance music sound with a modern and refreshing perspective.
The opener “ So Long’ is a driving and hypnotic peak time track while “Distant World” is evocative and dreamy.
On the flip side “Echoes’ is an acid-tingled deep cut that will make move every dancefloor, closing the EP is the superb bleepy number “Mode 7”. Limited to 300 copies, don’t miss it.

Joining us for the third release of Arpanet, Infinity Plus One, veteran producer coming to us from the London underworld. 

His unique sound oscillates between a twisted, distorted techno with hypnotic vocals and breaky electro.

Truly timeless sounds that we dare you to recognize. Two of the tracks are repressed 2005, but two others are unreleased from his 1999 catalog and the other was cooked up just a few months ago in 2022.

Infinity Plus One - Renaissance EP (ARPA003)

The Italian electronic music scene of the 90s was a melting pot where influences from different parts of the world fused to give rise to a unique and interesting sounds. Out of this vibrant scene, Italian producer Livio Foglio released a string of EP’s under different aliases and collaborations spanning all genres of electronic music and beyond.   

We are glad to present four archival tracks rescued from DAT under his less-known Periferico alias. 
The EP opens with two positive dance floor cuts, where progressive influences meet techno flavours. On the flip-side “Ambrasex” takes the listener through an introspective journey with its nostalgic overtones. “Persuasive Flight” closes the EP, leaving the listener in a sweet trance.

London based label and collective Cartulis Music announce their fifteenth release titled “Twilight Expanse” by New York producer Ebeats. A reissue from the early noughties featuring a previously unreleased Ebeats cut plus two new remixes by the legendary Radioactive Man and FOLD associate Voicedrone. The title track is one near and dear to the spirit of Cartulis - an emotive journey through hazy breakbeats, sirens from faraway lands, dramatic narratives battling through each other in a nine minute long piece of music. The rest of the record swings from club-ready techno grooves to various shades of electro - dark and dubby or bright and punchy.

B1 Twilight Expanse - (Radioactive Man Remix) Clip

A well-established figure in the UK music scene and further afield for delivering top-notch records and a profound dedication to crate digging, London-based DJ and artist Vass is now launching The Comfort, a newly-established record label, specializing in the forefront of electronic music.

Within this realm of The Comfort, Dj Lo-Tek, Sohrab's alter ego for off-kilter productions and Vass’ close musical companion, serves the inaugural release named Fast Feelings 2.0, comprising a 4-tracker hardware-based EP created back in 2020. The EP features a distinctive and varied fusion of gloomy futurism, crisp snares, captivating melodies, and resonant basslines.
