Happy Easter! This is my unedited, imperfect, raw and way too long recording for my first "real" solo-gig since 2019 which took place at the lovely PURPUR-Party from @we-kuyen on friday the  08.04.2022 in the Musikbrauerei Berlin! 

Unfortunately, I did not hit the record button, so this recording should give a little insight how things went on that night! Thanks everybody for showing up, having a good time and dance to my music (and the greeeeat music of the other artists @judith-ahrends @monkymanmusic @lisathaens @marcosmeza - I enjoyed all of them!). Thanks to @we-kuyen for inviting me, you lovely bunch of people <3, thanks to @sahrabass for her steady support :-*

Obviously passionate about music, Cristiano Pereira a.k.a. picão is a DJ with Portuguese roots who grew up in the Blackforest but lives currently in Berlin. Collecting and sharing music with a huge spectrum — digital and on vinyl, picão started spinning records in Stuttgart a couple years ago when organizing open airs and parties with his chosen family 'allesamt'.

This 221st edition was supposed to be played at an open air in the early evening that picão unfortunately couldn't play and we thought that IST series would be a great home for this 83-min sonic ride. Within a variation of organic, rhythmic and minimalistic downtempo cruising from groovy to dreamy to dark and in love with trippy elements, the mixtape is all about a truly smooth-dancefloor selection.

This friend and artist that we have long waited, brought us a a complete dream, a masterpiece, a celestial rainbow... We are in Heaven to share this one! 
Cardamine is an amazing DJ from France, and one of our favorite storytellers for years now! We could say that she is a "digging professional" and a most eclectic collector of music, downtempo and magic, because she for sure is! :) 
Maker of tales that are daring and feminine, always fresh and filled with a beautiful quality and mixing! There are not enough words to describe how this chapter and artist fascinates us!

kośa is a soundsmith, the alter ego of Tarun Jakhodia; a designer, DJ and head of bringing to the table aromas and extracts of comtemporary mixing — downtempo, acid house and minimal deep-tech ranging from 80 to 120 bpm, electronic yet organic tunes, deep hypnotic meditative grooves and solid kicks infused with Indian, Arabic and other ethnic influences which they beautifully term 'spiritual deeptech' a genre coined by kośa, rooted in the deepest part of India's underground scene located in Pune near the bustlin city of Bombay.

Recorded live on a nice breezy Sunday in his apartment's balcony, the 102-min mixtape crafted by kośa as our 224th edition took inspiration in some of their upcoming secret weapons releases, several projects and EPs on the way. So you betta taste the freshness of it!

With the exception of Soundcloud, the German Stefan Fritz keep himself a low-profile and left social media completely a year ago, we don't even know if it's his real name for sure (joke ends). Despite that, the declarated mountain-lover Stefan lives in the Bavarian elevations near the Austrian border  and shares music as other passion.

Physically, this 225th edition was recorded in his basement studio affectionately called BoilerRomm as it is located behind the boiler room where no one can be disturbed by the music. And for over 100 minutes the German DJ somehow is telling you that slow music can also be danced to.

Awwwww, get ready to be baptized by a tsunami of depth, creative-heart-power & L-O-V-E from BeYond co-founder Narfux:  it's her epic Friday night set on the Saga Floor at Bucht der Träumer 2022...whoooosh!

When the music tickles a deep longing in your heart, awakens your lust for being alive, creates a kaleidoscope of imagination & seduction, animating both the inner-children that need to play, and the ancient-wise ones that know we need to dance to feel human:  it's not JUST about the music.  

It's the reflection of the vibrant soul behind the decks:  they are infusing the heart of the dance-floor with their love and life-force...and anyone who has been baptized by Narfux's beats and been embraced by her presence knows exactly how this love-shower feels like:  like warm rain in August, like cheeky fairy-spirits dancing inter-dimensionally, like green moss beckoning you into a cuddle-puddle of love and tenderness.

With so much gratitude to the raver-gods-of-Berlin for allowing us to drink from her nectar. Enjoy the journey, and keep on coming back for more (as we all do).

Liebe Freunde des gepflegten Towndempos, 
wir präsentieren euch eine tierisch sumpfige Ausgabe unseres Igelkarussells. Bereits @ heggi-berlin , @haddockblau und @paqueta_que verzauberten uns mit ihrem sumpfig-spuligen Sounds. Nun reiht sich auch KBLZ alias AphrieK ein und beweist mal wieder, wie fruchtbar die Kooperation zwischen den Sumpfkrügen und den Spulenigeln ist.
Er ist Musiksommerlier seit frühen Jahren und vertraut dabei stets seinem Gespür für Perlen aus unterschiedlichen Genres. Dabei lernt er jeden Tag dazu und wie er selbst sagt: „immer wieder werden dabei neue Kombinationen entdeckt, die das Vermischen so lohnenswert machen“. Vielleicht schafft er es diesen Entdeckergeist auch bald in eigene Produktionen einfließen zu lassen, so zumindest sein langfristiges Ziel. Er folgt dabei stets der Philosophie: „Musik soll berühren und den Kopf durchpusten, einen frei machen von Sorgen und Ängsten. Sie soll ALLE Menschen verbinden und Barrieren
durchbrechen.“
Sein Mix hält einige Überraschungen für euch bereit. Tiere die in der neuen Ausgabe im Karussell Platz nehmen dürfen sind neben dem gewohnten Igel auch Elche; Elstern und Rabenkrähen, Nachtigallen und Tauben. Die zuletzt genannten gefiederten Freunde werden zwar namentlich nicht erwähnt, aber drehen dennoch fröhlich und verspult ihre Kreise.
Der Mix fasst den Spät-Sommer und den schönen Übergang in den Herbst gut zusammen und lässt an viele Höhenflüge erinnern, wie z.B.  das Auflegen beim Subaermarkt im RSO vor 2 Monaten bei strahlendem Sonnenschein. Dort wurde das Set sehr ähnlich vor Publikum präsentiert, deshalb liegt ihm dieser Podcast besonders am Herzen – und genau das wird spürbar beim Hören dieses wunderbaren Mixes. Überzeugt euch selbst 🧡

What a beautiful diverse and magical event Kabinett created. Thankyou for the invitation and the Love! What you create there is wonderful.

Two weeks post surgery,the first time back out in public space - pressing play felt SO good.
Celebrating the human body and all the process that comes with healing.
Celebrating it with sound. 

It's a little stormy, but it represents well my inner world the last two weeks and the journey to the play button.

Thankyou to the artists for these delicious and juicy tracks. What you create is so nourishing. 

It's a short one - if you were there, you know why...regardless of events beyond our control, we always close it with Love.
