Gospel Recording artist CaSandra Alexander started playing and singing at a young age in her local church. She continued her love for music by playing the clarinet in the junior high and high school band.  Dawkins took piano lessons under the instruction of Mrs. O'Bryant for a number of years. She played at recitals, graduations and also sung in the church choir. Years past and she left music alone. Then her father Elder H.V. Chambers the Pastor of Alexander Chapel was in need of a musician for the youth choir on third Sundays. Dawkins began to play again and direct the youth choir. She went on to play every second Sunday at St. James in Coolidge, Texas under Pastor Jerry Williams. In her time of worship at home, God began to impress on her to write songs. Along with the songs came the melodies which Dawkins believes came from Heaven. She was inspired to write a book, "Invitation into the Kingdom," which can be found on Amazon, Barnes and Nobles and many other bookstores.  Her ministry began at BTV Worship Center under the spiritual leadership of Bishop Sam and Lurna Cumby. She then became Minister of Music at Greater Little Zion under the watch-care of Pastor Al Richards.  She also taught Bible study on Wednesdays.  She is now living in Dallas, Texas.
