Montreal-based percussionist Ben Reimer has been called a “genre-bending wiz” (PuSh) and a performer of “stunning virtuosity” (Ludwig-Van Mtl). His collaborations with composers such as Nicole Lizée, Eliot Britton, Vincent Ho and Lukas Ligeti have resulted in a unique collection of solos, chamber works and concertos featuring the drumset. His debut album Katana of Choice: Music for Drumset Soloist (Redshift Records) is described as “an exhilarating musical ride” (Wholenote) and “a modern classic” (I Care If You Listen).

Singer-Songwriter. Chameleon. Her tender voice and her combination of jazz, folk, pop, and blues will leave you pleasantly astounded. Danielle Allard is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and Twitch Partner. She has been performing publicly for over 15 years and graced stages across Canada and Europe. This Ottawa native has toured Germany, Portugal and much of Canada but also performs 3 times a week for an international audience as a music streamer.

 

Her festival appearances include features at RBC Bluesfest, Marvest, Jazz Fest, Mountain Man Music Festival, and a main stage feature at Ottawa' CityFolk Festival. She has also been featured in showcases at Megaphono and Folk Music Ontario.

 

Her highly-anticipated third album, Passing Notes, was released in May 2018. She is known for her charity work in the nation’s capital, donating over 30 performances to various charities each year. Apart from her music, she is a community builder, teaching public relations and marketing at Algonquin College and working with local emerging artists and entrepreneurs in social media marketing and business strategy. She runs a regular art and music therapy series which features dozens of Ottawa's best singer-songwriters.

The members of The Wild Homes have spent the last decade crossing musical paths, but now with the mission to deliver their own musical message, they have reunited in their hometown of Winnipeg, Canada.  Fronted by the transcendent Brittany Barber, with songs composed by bassist Jessica Rodewald, this group of musicians blend a heavy mix of synthesizers and emotive vocals with full-bodied guitar, drums and bass. The Wild Homes are excited to bring their take on synth-pop to new audiences.

Ashley Au is a Winnipeg-based bassist, composer, arranger, and educator. A multifaceted musician, Ashley specializes in the upright and electric basses (4-string, 5-string, and fretless) as well as guitar, and is a much sought after sessional musician and music educator. After completing a degree in Jazz Bass Performace (B. Mus) at Brandon University, under the direction of Michael Cain, Greg Gatien, Eric Platz, and Gilles Fournier, Ashley has become an active member of Winnipeg’s music scene.
